  We actually got switched to Buena Vista due to low water in Idaho springs. The zip lining was really fun and our guides Robert and Ernie were outstanding. Our guide for rafting was Ethan and he was incredible! Highly recommend.

  Tim and Nate were our guides for zip lining. Six amazing zip line courses and a few rope course walks between zip lines, too. I cannot emphasize enough how great Tim and Nate were - fun, informative and ultra safety conscious. Highly recommend!! We went rafting in the afternoon with Carissa as our guide. We were newbies and she did a great job teaching us the ropes. Both experiences were incredible. My family had a blast!

  We had a great time rafting the Clear Creek Gold Rush route. Jackson our guide was great! He worked hard to make our trip great especially with the water being a little lower this time of season in spots. Plenty of drops and rapids for stage 2 and 3. I would highly recommend this company and trip and Jackson as your guide. We had ages 10 to 65 on the raft and everyone of us had a blast.

  We only did the Zipline. It was great. A great price and a great time! Our guides, Tim & Sunny, were amazing. Lots of history and great sense of humor.

  This as a great experience from booking to the day we did everything. I had originally booked the all day ziplining and rafting trip with AVA at a different location. They very conscientiously contacted me the day before to let me know that since my group included a 10 year old that they would need to book me on a different river due to the high water conditions having raised the minimum age requirement to 12. They asked me where we were staying and spent a fair amount of time looking for other suitable locations. I couldn't have been happier with the new location they booked us into at Idaho Springs. The whole family had a great time and the staff couldn't have been friendlier or any more helpful. Jacob and Alec were our zipline guides and they were awesome. Great with the kids and made it a blast. The course includes several runs along a cliff, culminating in a final run that takes you right back down over the creek to the base. We then went into Idaho Springs for lunch and then back to the AVA base to check-in for our afternoon rafting trip. Our guide was Swami and he, too, was awesome. Kept it fun and loose but also safe and had our whole group working well as a team. It was a beginner trip, but 6 miles of class 1-3 rapids and was plenty adventurous for us and an absolute blast. I would recommend AVA highly due to how well organized the group seems to be including the flexibility they demonstrated and how accommodating they were in switching us to a different location that would work for our family...and nothing but great things to say about the Idaho Springs location and their outstanding staff!

  Katie and Mary began our day by guiding us through the zip line course. They were outstanding. One participant was not 100% sure about the height and they were patient and excellent at guiding her through until she was comfortable. The four teenage boys loved every minute. Tip: purchase the photo package ahead of time and save 10%! Sammy was our Gold Rush rafting guide and he was incredible. We have rafted before at other spots in CO. and Sammy was the best. He made it the best trip ever. I highly recommend AVA.
