3.00Should have been great, but seemed a bit chaotic. The tour guide seemed distracted. She was difficult to understand and the directions were less than clear. When she talked about the tour, she talked about the guided walking tour and a wine tasting, but never mentioned climbing the tower. We wondered if we were on the right tour. She provided little commentary on the bus as we made our way from Florence to Pisa. It seems there would have been interesting information that could have been provided. She provided information about restrooms only once in an 11 hour day. She did not provide guidance in terms of the best time or location in the itinerary Pisa or Lucca to have lunch. Circumstance were difficult as it rained during the walking tour, but the city guide remained positive and was very knowledgeable. We were glad to have explored Pisa and not to have just visited the Leaning Tower of Pisa. For the wine tasting, we only had white, as we had to leave to go to climb the tower before the red tasting occurred. Seems like timing was off the whole day and we felt like we had not gotten what we had paid for.

4.00Trip to Pisa and Lucca is enjoyable and worth going to. The pick up from our stay was also carried out as arranged.
The only point which I would like to highlight is that we asked for English speaking tour but during our journey there, different languages were spoken by the tour leader which we could not understand.

5.00Wow! Pisa has much more to offer than just the tower. We loved Lucca! If you are so inclined rent a bike and ride it along the 4k path on the wall, but don't miss stopping to enjoy the lovely gardens and landscapes around every corner.
