  Terrible, couldn't access the map etc, went to the location specified, they had never heard of the game/ tour. Obviously we never even began it. Looked to us like it may have been a scam. Wasted £9

  Very interesting walking tour. Good value for money. Fantastic visit. Overnight ferry from Portsmouth to St Malo landing Saturday morning, whole day in the walled city then overnight ferry back on Saturday evening.

  This was a good trip overall but the quite limited information about what you were seeing was disappointing and detracted from the enjoyment of the activity. It was annoying that to do some of the extras the information came too late and you had to backtrack to something that you had previously almost walked past. I would also question the timing of 1hr to do the basic walk - I am sure that is theoretically correct if you know exactly where you are going and walked the route quickly but it does not reflect the reality of it as a tourist walk. We did most of the ‘extras’ although we didn’t bother with a few near the end and we were walking at a reasonable pace (though admittedly not a quick pace) and it took nearer 3 hours.

  If you are going to a place you do not know and want to visit this place in the most effective way, I definitely recommend it. If you went with your children, you can spend time with them like an adventure game.

  We loved doing this game, it was a great way to see St Malo and spot lots of little details and corners we probably would’ve missed otherwise. We choose to just take our time and stop off at some of the recommended cafes and museums along the way, so we had a lovely afternoon walking around the town. We booked this after really enjoying Worktown Games’ Paris game, and it didn’t disappoint.

  disappointing This is really an explanatory text to read... Not very fun or very playful. for €9 (on sale!), it's a bit expensive paid...

  This Game allowed us to discover (and rediscover) the city of Saint Malo intramuros in complete tranquility (we chose to do it without time limit). The activity allows us to stop at the important sites of the city but also to look up at things that we would not have noticed otherwise. We took to the game of counting our points throughout the activity: our score is 1846 points! We started it around 10:30 a.m. and finished around 3:30 p.m. with an ice cream on the terrace. We took the time for a picnic near the beach to stir up the gulls a little but without success... no points won for that! :-) For those who would choose to do the quick formula in 1 hour, we think that this should not allow you to take the time to see everything, but to each their own formula of course. • St. Malo walking tour

  We previously did one of Worktown Games tours in Paris & loved it so having booked a trip to Saint Malo were keen to try their game there ! The route was easy to follow & took us to places we wouldn't have found ourselves with lots of interesting & fun facts on the way. This was a different & fun way to discover the town, I really recommend this great game.
