  Awesome time, you may occasionally run into a black tip shark, I started snorkeling on my own and a 5 or 6 foot Black Tip swam right in front of me and that scared me back to the group and boat, LOL but it was a blast!!!

  We had an excellent time on this excursion with Captain Mata and our guide Jessica during our port stop in Raiatea on the Norwegian Spirit. Both were friendly, welcoming, and made the entire experience enjoyable from start to finish. The snorkeling at the coral garden was beautiful, but the absolute highlight was getting to swim with the blacktip sharks—such an unforgettable experience! Captain Mata was incredibly accommodating. We missed our morning excursion because we were late getting on the tender boats, but he kindly helped us get onto the afternoon tour, which we really appreciated. We also loved the special touch of Captain Mata preparing fresh fruit bowls for us during the trip—they were absolutely delicious and made the experience feel even more personal and thoughtful. Highly recommend this excursion to anyone visiting Raiatea, especially if you’re stopping there on a cruise!

  What an absolutely amazing experience! The guides were friendly & knowledgeable & we were able to snorkel amongst beautiful coral reefs , sharks, & rays. A once in a lifetime experience

  Really well done great people to deal with a very pleasant experience. On top of that a booking error made by me was easily solved by the coordinator who kept us up to speed with minor changes along the way.

  Everything was wonderful. Tama and Jess were so welcoming and so knowledgeable and helpful. Very comfortable boat and loved that Jess was a marine biologist with so much information to share. Guided us through the most amazing coral garden with amazing snorkeling that will ruin all other sites for us because it was so spectacular. Then a lovely snack and swimming with the sharks. It is wonderful excursion.Hope to go again!

• Not an easy drift snorkel

  The boat was excellent, like new. The snorkeling was difficult without fins. We are experienced snorkelers, but really worked against the incoming currents to reach the place where we could drift back to the boat. The swim with the sharks experience was fun and our guides were very attentive. We even received underwater photos and videos from our tour operator. Fun day!

  This is a wonderful snorkeling experience. They made it easy enough for beginners and also fun for experienced snorkelers. I got to see probably at least 8 black tip reef sharks! It is an awesome experience! It is definitely worth taking this excursion!!

  This was one of the best days of my entire cruise. I’ve been snorkeling all over the world, including the two largest barrier reefs, and this was honestly one of the best spots I’ve experienced. You absolutely cannot miss snorkeling here—the visibility is incredible, and the coral is so close and vibrant. I was visiting on a cruise ship, and the convenience alone made this tour amazing—the boat was located right by the port, which made everything so easy and stress-free. No long transfers or confusion, just a seamless start to the day. The boat itself was spotless and felt brand new, which immediately made me feel comfortable and taken care of. This was a private tour, which made the entire experience feel even more special and personalized. The captain, Mataiki, was absolutely fantastic—so friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what he does. He really made the day. Even though the weather was slightly rainy, it honestly didn’t take away from the experience at all—it still ended up being a perfect day. The snorkeling was absolutely unforgettable. Getting to see stingrays up close and swim with sharks was such a surreal experience—something I’ll never forget. The coral garden was stunning, and Mataiki actually got in the water with us to point out amazing things we definitely would have missed on our own. And the best part? There was no one else at the coral garden spot. It felt so peaceful and exclusive, like we had this incredible place completely to ourselves. The water was crystal clear, the marine life was vibrant, and the entire experience felt relaxed, personal, and truly special.   Beautiful and pleasant crossing in the blue-green lagoon of Raiatea and Tahaa. The site is beautiful. The seabed is amazing and colorful. The fish are within reach! They're here at my fingertips! That's impressive! The crew is like Polynesia, welcoming, smiling, pleasant. I highly recommend it!
