  I have been coming to PA for about 19 years now and this is hands down the best tour I have been on. The tour guide, Ken, was kind, knowledgeable, and personable. You can tell he knows and has a good relationship with the Amish community members. Ken was also timely and prepared. The 3 stops that we went on were outstanding! We went to a dairy farm, leather shop, and Amish home. At every stop we learned something new. I enjoyed every stop and getting to spend time with and ask different Amish community members about their lives. The price for this tour was very reasonable for how long it is and the amount stops.

  A pleasant way to achieve a better understanding of the Amish. First a dairy farm, then a carriage maker, followed by a visit with a grandmother. Interesting commentary along the way.

  We loved our farm visit. The owner was very engaging. He welcomed our questions and had a tour of his farm planned out. Our 2nd tour was a metal fabricator. He was not prepared. If my husband did not engage him with questions, he would literally have had nothing to tell us. Our 3rd visit was with a retired couple. They were very nice. We enjoyed seeing their home but wish that we had seen a working family home. The wife’s brother stopped by and visited for about 15 minutes of our tour. He was very pleasant but obviously not “in character” like his sister and brother in law. Overall, we greatly appreciate all of the folks sharing their home and property with us. We were very curious about their life style and walked away a bit disappointed in the experience. We may have anticipated too much. We would encourage visitors to take the tour. Our guide, Dana, was very informative and engaging.

  The 3 hours flew by as Jim shared fascinating customs and history of the Amish. His warm and friendly personality, along with a corny joke or two, added to the experience. The Amish dairy farmer, leather worker and homemaker we met were most interesting and ready to answer any questions. Highly recommend you take this tour with Jim.

  Very unprofessional. They wouldn’t let us go on the van because we had 2 toddlers even though we got an email talking about toddlers being allowed. The van driver was going to allow us on and then one of the office members refused and told us to come to the office the next day to discuss our refund process. Today we went to the office and the owner was there and very rude and unprofessional. He seemed to have been informed about what had happened and also told me that l would not be getting my refund.
