自転車ツアーは旧市街を通り、カジミエシュのユダヤ人地区と旧ゲットーを経由してシンドラーの工場まで続きます。わずか数時間で、歴史的な街を見て回り、平均的なクラクフ人よりもその歴史をよく知ることができます。マーケット広場、中世の城壁、プランティ公園、非常に古いが美しい大学の建物、火を吐くドラゴンなどの見どころを通り、休憩中には本物のザピエカンカを試すこともできます。

Accompanied by our Brazilian / Nederlandae guide Joan (Johan in Dutch) we have gained more background about the Nazi regime and the Jewish population in and around Krakow. We thought as middle-aged men we knew most about this. However, Johan has given us a deeper insight into what has been going on around the Hitler regime. Some eyes opened and quarters dropped. May this never happen to humanity again. Thanks Johan for the wise lessons. I recommend everyone to book this excursion in combination with a visit to Auswitzh-Birkenau. You get a different view of the history and current state of affairs in the world.

Day 1 a tour done with Wesley through Auschwitz 1, 2 Auschwitz Birkenau and monuments Auschwitz 3 Day 2 with Johan a bike tour done through Krakow and through the Jewish Quarter and the ghettos. When concentration visited Plaszow that was also very impressive, despite Johan not being well that day he explained it very well and clearly also Wesley was a good guide. Highly recommended to do this.

We made a bike ride through Krakow with Johan as our guide. A super nice, cozy morning. Our goal was to discover a bit more of the city and get some inspiration for the rest of our stay. That's all worked out!! Thanks for the super trip Johan! 😊
