• Olympic National Park experience

  Another great Good Trips experience! There is so much to see in Olympic and I am glad we had Sydney as our guide. With her knowledge and guidance, we were able to take in all the different landscapes, including the Hoh rainforest, Rialto beach, and Hurricane Ridge. Best of all, we were able to catch a glimpse of salmon swimming upstream in the Sol Duc area-incredible! Every logistical detail was taken care of and it was a seamless experience.

  We had an amazing family adventure day in Olympic National Park thanks to Felicity and Good Trips! We had a short amount of time in the national park and really wanted to try to see it all. Felicity helped us customize the perfect day which included the Hoh rainforest and coast/tide pools/beaches. She communicated with us ahead of time to make sure we had the perfect itinerary planned. She checked tide charts and weather, also knew the best times to get into the Hoh rainforest without having to wait at all! Perfectly planned and executed, plus a ton of great knowledge and facts about the park, wildlife and geology, and history of the close relationship with indigenous Native American tribes. My three teenage boys were engaged the entire time! We loved the rainforest, and the tide pools of Second Beach were full of interesting marine life! The day was a blast and our tine went way too quickly! Totally recommend Felicity and Good Trip adventures if you want to have a fun filled day in Olympic National Park without having to worry about the planning, driving, parking, crowds, etc. Five stars, a must do for a family trying to explore this amazing national park in a single day!!   My mom and I wanted to book our annual girls’ trip somewhere to remember and this trip to Olympic park was incredible. We were lucky to have Felicity as our guide—she was amazing. She’s not only extremely knowledgeable, but also warm, kind, and truly accommodating. Her ability to make everyone feel comfortable and engaged is a gift—we had an absolute blast with her. One of the highlights of our trip was the incredible lunch she arranged for us from a local baker while overlooking a stunning view of Crescent Lake—all thanks to her thoughtful planning. Felicity is passionate about what she does, and it is easy to see—she goes above and beyond to make the experience unforgettable. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a guide that brings expertise and heart to every moment. • Expensive but recommended

  No question, this private tour was expensive but I have multiple physical limitations so had little choice. I can now say that the expense was worthwhile. Our guide, Felicity, surveyed multiple trails and attractions to sort out which ones were possible for me. She even shifted the time of the tour from 8:00 AM - 4 PM to 1:30 PM - 9:30 in order to miss the huge crowds and long waits at the Hoh Rain Forest. On the tour, she displayed a wide range of knowledge about what we were seeing, whether it be nature, geologic or historical. She was also a delightful upbeat guide with plenty of stories from her private experience.

  We loved our guide experience—she was fun, friendly and knowledgeable, timed our park visits to avoid big crowds and made sure we saw the sites we most wanted to, then sent us recommendations for sites to visit on our own. She took care of all the details and just let us enjoy, and she took great photos, too. Highly recommend!

  Did a week long group trip with Good Trip Adventures to Mount Rainier/Tahoma and Olympic National Parks. Had so much fun on this trip and our guides Sydney and Mish were super knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming! They were great in being able to switch up the itinerary if needed and I highly recommend Good Trip Adventures for anyone interested in a group trip or private trip!

  Lauren was our guide. She was amazing, personable, and extremely knowledgeable. Due to the morning low tide, we started our tour/hike exploring the Tree of Life, Ruby Beach, Beach #4, and one more that we thoroughly enjoyed. We also had the opportunity to view the downed big Cedar tree. Throughout the tour, snacks and water were available to consume. The mid-to-late morning and afternoon we explored the Hoh Rainforest. We walked the Riverfront Trail and had our delicious lunch on the side of the river. Fortunately for us, the weather worked in our favor, and it being March, was not peak season so we enjoyed most of the day unencumbered by lines. We felt like Lauren helped us maximize our day and hike. If it weren’t for her presence, direction, and accountability, I’m pretty sure we would have ended our day sooner and without seeing 1/2 of nature’s wonders that we enjoyed that day. It is without reservation that we recommend Lauren and her group to help provide you with the foundation needed to not only enjoy your hike, but to guide and provide the fund of knowledge that makes the hike that much more enjoyable.   We had an excellent experience. Lauren, our guide, was so knowledgeable and passionate about about what she does. We learned so much about the rain forest while enjoying the beauty of the National park. I highly recommend this tour and our family is looking forward to booking another tour when we come back.

  There is not enough space to express how thankful and safe we felt as a family traveling in the PNW with Good Trip Adventures; & Lauren. We had the easiest time coordinating all of our adventures with GTA . We appreciated all of the advance guidance and planning to prepare for our trip. Lauren & GTA were always available, and responsive, for any questions. Lauren took a personal interest in our interests, and priorities, including aspects of geology and biology that were important to us. We had informative books on-hand while driving between locations, and recommendations for further learning. She was engaged as our fearless leader, and patient with us. We are a family of 2 older adults in our 50s, and 2 young adults. We are at varying levels of fitness & endurance and never once felt anything other than encouraged and inspired. We are grateful to have been able to visit these sacred and beautiful spaces. Every day of adventure included clear plans, healthy and delicious meals and snacks (which took into account dietary needs/restrictions), and engaging conversations. We hope to return to other National Parks with GTA in the near future, and I doubt we will travel any other way!
