  Emmyrose presented a lively, entertaining history walking tour that set up the remainder of our visit to Galveston. She provided history laced with stories that painted the picture behind the history.

  This is the most all ability friendly tour. The walking is relatively slow. There are options for wheelchairs and to slow down in all locations. The guide makes sure everyone is accommodated. I would not recommend this tour for individuals with young children-it wont be up their alley, as it is not really interactive and the informationwould be a bit too dry for them. The guide was very knowledgeable and animated. It felt a little slow to me, but for the larger geoup it was probably necessary to keep it slower. I was hoping for a bit more movement as I dont like standing still for too long. So that would be the only issue that held me back from 5 stars.

  A wonderful experience and tour. Noell was completely knowledgeable, and very kind. She left us with our curiosity heightened and we plan to dig into the Galveston history even further. I would recommend this tour to all my friends and family.

  Our guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. She was able to answer all of our off the wall questions. She was a Galvestonion and obviously loved her homeplace and the history behind it. It was a hot day, and I was worried it would be hot and miserable. She knew all the cool places with air conditioning and shade. I highly recommend. We have Such a new appreciation for Galveston.

  EmmyRose did a great job- we learned so much about Galveston. We enjoyed the stories about the buildings, those that developed Galveston, and little tidbits about how great Galveston is. Emmy took pictures for us and answered all our questions. We stopped along the way at different parks and benches (even a bathroom break). She pointed out good places to eat and museums. While ghost stories in towns are the rage now, one can understand why Galveston would have more than it's share. Best tour so far this trip.
