旅行はエクアドルで最も有名な先住民族の市場の 1 つであるオタバロに向かってキトの北をドライブする早朝に始まります。途中の最初の停車地は、「マザパン」の手工芸品で有名な小さな町、カルデロンです。続いて、「リーフチーズ」と「マンジャール」を添えた塩ビスケットでも有名なカヤンベに立ち寄ります。次の目的地は、インバブラ火山 (4610 mts.) とサンパブロラグーンの景色を楽しむためのビューポイントです。

その後、毎週土曜日にインド市場を開催するオタバロに入ります。ここは、オタバロコミュニティの古代の伝統と文化交流の場です。手工芸品から職人が作った衣服まで、市場で買い物をしたり、サイトを目撃して写真を撮ったりすることができます。その後、革で有名な静かなコタカチ村に向かい、地元の職人に会います。午後遅くにキトに戻ります。注: オタバロでは土曜日のみローカルマーケットが開催されます。通常、火曜日にはいくつかの交流活動がありますが、それはオタバロの村人によって異なります。 * 重要な注意点：火曜日と土曜日の出発 (オープン出発) の場合は、午前 6 時 45 分にマリスカルバリオの中心部にある待ち合わせ場所でガイドと他の旅行者と待ち合わせてください。月、水、木、金、日の出発の場合、ガイドが午前 8:00 から 9:00 頃にキトのホテルに迎えに行きます (時間はサービスバウチャーで確認されます)。

The service was excellent, even for a small hour. Our guide, Christian, was very knowledgeable and he was kind to all the travelers. Transportation was comfortable and the food was pretty good. We also enjoyed the cultural insights that the guides at all the places we went to would provide. We will definitely book more trips with them!

Our tour guide is Ivan (if I spell his name correctly). He is on time when picking us up from the hotel. He also introduces us Ecuadorian traditions and cultures. He took us to Otavalo Marketplace and Cuicocha Lake. The lunch is great! Thank you so much.

This was a great tour! Our tour guides were very helpful and gave us lots of information. One of the highlights was stopping at the Equator in Cayambe. This stop is better than the more popular Mitad del Mundo on the West side of Quito. The landscape is beautiful and you get to stop at some great places to take pictures. We went on a Tuesday and the market in Otavalo wasn't as large as I expected. I found there to be more shopping and better prices in Quito. The drive and exploration of the country side was worth the trip for sure!
