Basic walking tour with average guide - better off doing a self-guided tour.

It was a fairly basic walking tour, that could've been done on your own. The guide didn't really add much to enhance the tour with her commentary. Also, the guide did not time the visit to St Marys Church very well and we missed out on seeing inside the Church because there was a service on at 2.30pm. The guide should have been aware of this and could have scheduled the visit early to ensure we saw the interior.

Generally a downhill walk with some steps. Our guide (Chris) was knowledgeable, well spoken & had the needs of his group in mind. They tour was interesting, insightful & run at an accommodating pace. Our Tour clashed with their annual political rallies, but Chris led us around the bulk of that.

Ann, our guide was fabulous!! This is a 4 hour walking tour of the city. It is beautiful and we learned so much of the history. She allowed our small group to decide the most important things we wanted to see and allowed us plenty of time for pictures.

The tour was very informative and guide was very knowledgeable. The average rating is due to the walking experience. The description should indicate the walk at times can be strenuous due to walking up hills and the use of stairs.

Visby, Sweden is a UNESCO heritage site for a reason. The medieval wall with 27 turrets still intact was overwhelmingly beautiful, not to mention the botanical gardens. The town itself was charming with a quaint mix of shops, restaurants, and 12th century ruins. Amazing!! Our guide was a nice lady but spoke very little English. The group ended up filling in her sentences. Not what one should expect from a tour guide, thus the 4 star rating. This excursion is a must!!!!

Visby Tour of 4 hours is good . We can understand the town history n also a short walking tour our own good to know the town well. Tour guide Peter Daun very knowledgeable on history and he is friendly n funny .
