パカヤ火山は、グアテマラの旧首都アンティグア周辺にある多くの（活発な）火山の1つで、おそらく最もアクセスしやすい火山です。 Pacaya火山の最後の大噴火は2010年でした。2016年までは、ハイキング中に実際に溶岩を間近で見ることができました。日没のハイキング中、少し暗くなるとすぐに、火山が煙と溶岩を投げているのを見ることができました。

What To Expect
Pacaya Volcano
旅行者はホテルからピックアップされ、ミニバスでパカヤ火山国立公園まで運ばれます。トレイルの状態は良好ですが、3.7 kmのコースでPacayaに到達するまで急です。上昇すると、森林、農地、溶岩を通過します。土やゆるい灰の道を歩くので、丈夫な靴を履いてください。 山頂では、火山灰、岩、溶岩などが噴出している噴気孔の素晴らしい景色をお楽しみいただけます。噴火をキャプチャする準備ができているカメラを用意してください。セキュリティを維持するために、安全な距離にいて危険から逃れます。このツアーでは、周辺の素晴らしい景色も楽しめます。

3.00Get ready to hike. I do not think this is a beginner’s friendly hike, more moderate- advanced. They have gourdes that you can ride up the mountain but they are pretty overpriced so be sure to carry extra cash if you cannot complete the hike. (Mind you I actually work out and it was difficult). Great experience overall, but beware of physicality required.

5.00Be prepared to hike up or take a horse. I decided to hike. Amazing experience and seeing the volcano up and being able to sit on volcano rock and admire the scene down below was a amazing. The small group I was with and or your guide was absolutely amazing. The volcano hike turned strangers friends.
A fabulous was to experience an active volcano! A must do when visiting Guatemala!

5.00I had a great time at Volcan Pacaya. The guide Mynor Peralta was very knowledgeable and our hike up to the top was nice and fun. He even practiced speaking Spanish with me. There were horses available to rent, but I didn’t feel the need for it and just walked up. The view at the top is amazing. Oh, and he volunteered to take some Instagram worthy pictures, total win.
Wonderful experience!! Do a horseback riding as a part of it!! So worth it!!

5.00What a wonderful experience it was! Wow! It was so magical to do a horseback riding all the way to the top of the volcano and enjoying breathtaking views of the mountains and volcanoes!! This trip is a must!!
