  We had an absolutely unforgettable day with Alan from Experienced Tours! From the moment he greeted us at the Glasgow pier—dressed in full traditional Scottish attire—we knew we were in for a truly authentic and memorable experience. Alan’s warm welcome set the tone for the day. His passion for Scotland and its rich history was evident in every story he shared and every landmark we visited. His knowledge is not only extensive, but it's delivered with genuine enthusiasm and a personal touch that made us feel more like honored guests than tourists. What really stood out was how Alan tailored the experience to our interests, making each stop meaningful and engaging. He went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, entertained, and immersed in the beauty and heritage of Scotland. It’s rare to find a guide who combines professionalism, deep historical insight, and heartfelt hospitality so seamlessly.

  We were fortunate to have chosen Experienced Tours for our cruise stop in Greenock (Glasgow). Our guide, Laura, was on time and very welcoming. She has a wealth of information that she gladly shares and is focused on giving her guests the best tour possible. Our Loch Lomond, Inveraray and Argyll tour was spectacular. The weather was a little wet in the beginning while touring the town of Luss (definitely worth a return in better weather) but it cleared up and the rest of the day was great. We especially enjoyed touring Inveraray Castle. We had lunch in Inveraray Town and it was a great place to do some souvenir shopping. There was never any worry about getting back to the ship in time, Laura was on top of everything at all times. All in all it was a great day with a great guide. We would not hesitate to recommend Experienced Tours.

  Had a great time in Glasgow. Favorites include the People's Museum and walking around in downtown Glasgow. Our guide Neil was flexible and allowed us to customize the tour. Great intro to a great city!

  We had a fabulous time touring Glasgow from Edinburgh. It was our first time to see Glasgow and our tour guide, Sean, made it a fantastic experience. I was with my husband and 2 kids and Sean was flexible enough to allow us to create an itinerary catered for kids, as we went along. He was also patient in answering my kids' questions and listening to their stories, even on dinosaurs haha. He also explained a lot about the culture and history of Edinburgh and Glasgow, which was very helpful for us. Sean let us take our own pace, the van was very clean. He was on time in picking us up and Alexander even saw us off. They are very hands-on. My only regret was discovering this wonderful service on our 3rd day in Edinburgh and we had to go home the next day. Surely, we will avail of their tours again when we come back. Highly recommended! Thank you so much!

  My wife and I have traveled the world over many years and have experienced top shelf service, +5 stars, diamond and the like. Some of our experiences we have felt could not be matched much less surpassed, however our trip to Glasgow and Edinburg hosted by Experienced Tours surpassed not only our expectations but the best-of-the-best-of-the best from our past. Our tour guide did not miss a beat, attention to detail beyond arriving precisely to the minute and then immediately showing concern and flexibility to grab my wife who went a few blocks ahead to grab coffee was just the beginning of what would be a day, time and tour we will never forget. Anyone fortunate enough to get Alexander as their tour guide as were we will find themselves in the presence of a wealth of knowledge, history, humor, did I say attention to every detail (clean vehicle, bathroom breaks, dietary preferences etc) that was unparalleled. In getting to know him though I suspect that he has cloned himself and our experience likely would have been the same regardless, but frankly I cannot fathom how our trip could have been better. In fact the 8+ hours while filled with so much unknown history, fun, laughter and fellowship, seemed to pass quickly. We never felt rushed, we did everything and more, he spoke, said and did what we expected as best and then exceeded. So the 5 star rating is short of what we would give but only what is allowed. We would recommend without hesitation any person, couple or group to connect with this company and then simply, enjoy. We would return to Edinburgh just to experience our tour guide and company and hope to do so. The only downside to our trip with this company and our host Alexander to whom we say thanks, is that we are at the beginning of our trip and the bar has been set so high that we are now bracing for a let down - but thankful that Experienced Tours is now our - Gold, Platinum, Titanium standard!
