You will get to see some of downtown Hyannis on foot by following a slide deck and finding sites or doing other activities. If you are new to Hyannis then it is bit like a self guided walking tour.
Scavenger Hunt in Cape Cod had few local landmarks

Don’t expect to learn much about the history, landmarks or architecture of Hyannis on the scavenger hunt. We mostly interfaced with locals for photos - we could have been anywhere. The Canva format is not easy to follow. It was fun walking around on a sunny day.

Honestly you only need one ticket be used there is nobody thereto check in with, so we spent over $200 on the trip for our family of 8. When my mom had found it online, it sounded like it would be moreguided and take us to places we may not know or had been to on the Cape. We thought there would be clues to get us to places and guiding us all around the town, however it was filled with tasks to choose from. So reallywe could have made this up along the way. We thought there would be some kind of communication throughout to give us clues to the next stop. It was just pick a task and send in pic nothing really communicating to let us know what was going on. We were sent a canvas presentation and just picked a task that lead to nowhere. We were very disappointed that there were no landmarks or clues for us to figure out. Really it was just a set of challenges to do in public. Could be fun for a bachelor/bachelorette party but not if you wanted to actually see things or learn about the town.

The wrong town was sent to us for the scavenger hunt. Not very organized. Although 51 million score was never added to leaderboard.

This is not a traditional scavenger hunt. You need to be tec savvy. We expected clues to take us places around Hyannis but instead got a variety of tasks to choose from which seemed very generic. Later we learned that this company operates these hunts in 600 locations so naturally they are not tailored to the area. Very disappointed.

I couldn’t get any messages on Whatsapp at all. The service in the town was so bad. We didn’t get to join the game at all. Very disappointed

I think it was really fun interacting with strangers who were willing to participate all around the town. The tasks were fun and it was nice strolling around and it’s a good thing to do to take up time and hang around/discover areas of the town. I will say that it is really confusing at first, but when you get the hang of it then you have fun.

First, you only need one member of your party to have a "ticket" as no one is physically present at the location. Once you arrive, at approximately the start time, you are sent a generic intro video, and the link to a PowerPoint presentation with convoluted "missions". Essentially, it is a complete waste of time and money. We looked at the list of missions and quickly decided to not bother. Something called a Scavenger Hunt should actually be that. I have never been so disappointed.

We enjoyed trying!!!! Didn’t go according to plan. We had lots of technical difficulty. But we laughed a lot and did a few things. AND discovered some yummy bakeries!!! A little confusing at first, but it took a lot of time for us to get our act together. We would try again I think. Thanks. We all agree it’s a great concept.
