Thank you Feast Thailand for another great tour, Sunset Local Eats Food Tour in Hua Hon. Cream was our very friendly and knowledgeable guide. This is the second time on the tour, got to try many different foods from the first time, 4yrs ago. These tours give you such confidence to try new things alone. Loved the stewed pork nuckle with rice and minced duck spicy larb salad, will definitely be eating these again. Definitely would recommend, be prepared, light lunch only otherwise you will not have room to make the most of the tour and all its flavours. Thanks again Cream x

Cream is a wonderful tour guide who invites you to learn and embrace the flavors of Thailand. She has a deep personal connection to the foods and vendors along the tour. We were lucky enough to have our tour on Tuesday, the day of the local food market. More than a hint: sign up for Tuesday tour if possible.

We were taken around by a lovely lady called Cream. She was very knowledgeable and explained everything we saw in the market and all the dishes we tried. She even explained how to eat some things which made the taste experience even better. I highly recommend this tour, not only for the tastes but also to get an understanding of the food and culture. We learned a lot.

Come hungry! A fantastic 3+ hours of eating and learning Thai cooking culture. Our guide Cream was absolutely charming and engaging in telling us the food and cooking that is done in certain regions of Thailand. We’ve done food tours all over the world and this was the absolute best!

We decided to take a food tour before we really began our travels around Thailand so that we new what to expect. I'm so glad we chose Sunset Local Eats Food Tour as our guide Cream was FANTASTIC. We spent 3.5 hours visiting local markets, street vendors and restaurants where Cream had us sampling many flavors from her home country. She explained many traditions, and walked us through food preparations and explained the many different spices and flavors and how adding a little here and there changes food tastes. This tour was a highlight of our trip to Thailand and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting.

My husband and I recently went on a food tour in Thailand, and it was truly an experience we'll never forget! We visited three incredible stops, each offering unique and delicious dishes we never would have thought to try on our own. The food was absolutely phenomenal—every bite was a delightful surprise, and we were introduced to flavors and ingredients we had never imagined before. What made the tour even more special was our guide, Cream. She was so enthusiastic and full of knowledge, making the entire experience fun and educational. She was incredibly friendly, always ready with helpful suggestions, and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. Her passion for Thai cuisine was contagious, and we could tell she genuinely loved sharing her culture with us. We’re already planning our return to Thailand next year, and we definitely want to join the tour again! We hope Cream is still leading the tours because she made it such a memorable experience. If you're looking to explore Thailand's amazing food scene, this tour is a must!

We had a fabulous sunset food tour with the effervescent Cream despite the downpours. Our favourite venue was the Dinosaur night market with it's sheer variety of cooked food, veggies, fish and meat and good local vibe. Cream was great at explaining the intricacies of all the Thai food we had and all done with a good dollop of humour. As relative Thai food novices this was great because we would have overlooked many of the ingredients/accompaniments with each food. This was especially so when we had the pork knuckle at the second venue which took the dish to a whole different level. The traditional Hua Hin sun dried seafood snacks were intriguing. The Isen food stop was delicious as well. Again Cream took time to explain and guide us through the complexities of eating this regional food. The duck larb and lotus flower stem spicy salad were delish. The dessert stop was novel with all the different additions you could make to your dessert. All in all this was a fantastic food tour and Cream was a wonderful guide. Would totally recommend Feast Thailand.

We loved our tour tonight with Cream. Met Leigh at the first pickup of our other tour journey friend - was sensational to meet the legend who put this all together and to have a few laughs and get a few local tips. We got on our way and to the Tuesday night market (only Tuesday night, so it was kind of special to happen upon it - we didn't know when we booked it) standouts include Chiang Mai sausage (I could have eaten the whole lot!) the steamed dumpling (two styles, one with rice paper the other with tapioca) and the different ways to eat it. I preferred the rice paper one for its texture, but both were really tasty. That sauce...OMG!! The green fried vegetable cake - oh my hat, dipped in the same sauce - different dimension but whole other level of good! The sweet floss dessert with the super-duper thin pandan pancakes (almost like peking duck pancakes but with pandan - and lighter) was a great palate cleanser between the savoury and spicy (I admit - I eat A LOT of chilli - hence my t-shirt which warns so haha) Next stop stewed pork knuckle - oh man... this place is next level good - but Cream knew how to start with the appetisers of fish crackers accompanied by this most amazing salty/hot/sour with a fishy edge - and other bits and pieces like dry grilled flattened squid (my favourite bar snack) and charcoal grilled sea snail pieces on little skewers (delicious), grilled (I think it was dried?) chewy sea bass in a delicious sweet marinade. The pork knuckle gets its own paragraph - I can see how this place has lasted decades... Just wow. The combination of eating the rice cooked in the pork stock, with some strips of pork with whole cloves of garlic (skin and all) and some birds eye chillies - just wow. Cannot speak highly enough of it... Just do it. Then after the tour go back and get it again... we most certainly will (pull up your favourite map app on your phone and pin drop it - so you can tell your grab driver where to take you!) Next stop - Issan restaurant... You may have noticed I'm a spicy food fan - this place did not disappoint with the chillies that I could add ;-) The air dried beef with the crisp fried kaffir lime leaves, crunchy and so, so tasty, go so well together. I could have eaten the whole plate except I needed to keep room for that whole fish when I saw it. The chicken wings were super simple and tasty - again - something you kinda don't wanna stop eating but when you see the setup that comes with the fish - you will. Cream guided us through the Issan style of building the betel leaf, the herbs, the noodle, the two types of sauce (including spicy for me) the fish on top and making a little parcel.... again Oh. My. Hat! Just insanely good... Last stop, which we forgot about because we were talking so much, Cream feels like a family member - chatting and talking about our families and where we come from and what we do in life... Such a great way to do a tour. Leigh - you have a legendary guide here - 100%. The ice dessert - so very refreshing after all the different things we had tried. We have this at home in Australia - but the local daily fresh coconut milk smacks the tinned stuff they use at home out of the park, it's not even the same dessert in our part of the world. Here it is so light and fresh and you want to keep eating. Do book a tour with these guys - we absolutely loved it - shame we don't have more time to do more!! Will DEFINITELY be back next time we are in Hua Hin. THANK YOU!

Very much enjoyed the experience. Our guide, Cream, was very knowledgeable and taught us so much about the foods we ate and how to eat them.
