  If you buy a bus tour ticket you get a free 30 minute one way cruise from Westminster pier to Tower pier. Or the other way. On a sunny day it is worth doing. I got my ticket upgraded to a return ticket to Greenwich which lasted under an hour, giving you options to visit some of the attractions in Greenwich. The upgrade cost me around £10. There is live commentary on board which is pretty good, although you can expect them to pull out their bucket at the end wanting you to part with more money for the 'extra service' they provide. The food on board is overpriced. I wanted a small can of 'coke with ice' on what was the hottest day of the year, to which I ordered on their online service. What I got was a warm can of coke and no ice. They had ran out of it. All in all, it is worth doing on a hot day. Just take your own food.

  

  

• How to waste time on your limited London stay

  This excursion wasted my groups time! The Vendor did not provide the service as expected. On 6/22/26 my group of 5 were trying to board at the Tower of London Dock around 4:00. The current ship was full. We were told that the next ship was not comming until 5:45 PM The sign says new boat every 40 minutes. We had to stand for over an hour and a half. We missed our next engagements due to this lack of service This was our main day in London after the cruise and we had to wait too long The vendor did not meet their obligation to us. We paid a lot to be in London and this is just not acceptable We heard that there was mechanical problems, but we also heard that this happens often by your staff How can some one have dependable service if ships break down all the time. We got on at 5:45pm and left the dock at 6:00 pm. By the way about 76 people were left on the dock after waiting a long time. My fellow traveler stated that there were about 50 seats free in the coveted part of the ships Tried to get a refund and they stated that it is in there fine print. How to waste your time and money There are other vendors that may be more dependable and customer friendly Attached is the response Thank you so much for your patience while we looked into your request.   What a very good experience. I saw and learnt so many things during the trip. It was a very relaxing way to see London from the Thames. In the way to Greenwich, Nick gave us an excellent commentary on various things we were seeing and on the way back it was Beauty who was also very good.   We enjoyed the river cruise and the photo ops along the way. Would recommend an open top boat. Very fairly priced for a family. Only draw back was they did not enforce the no standing policy in the center aisle. Would recommend this cruise
