• Beautiful Views, knowledgeable Tour Guide.

  We had a great experience and learned a lot about Hitler. We really liked the additional information about Munich like Hitler's apartment, the eternal flame and more. The tour started with a 2 hour bus ride with commentary. They also had beer, water and coke zero for sale 2,50 and 2 but cash only. Make sure to bring cash for the bus ride up, the drinks in the bus and for ice cream in Berchesgarten. We knew about a tip and the bus cost but we would have definitely brought more for sodas/beer on the bus and ice cream (we did find an ice cream shop that took card). The bus driver was very good, I felt safe even on the scary roads, they are steep. We had plenty of time at the eagles nest. Of course we wish there was more time in the day to do more but it was very good. Suggestions - an erasable board to put time and meeting points that we can take a picture of. Sometimes I forgot the time, but I was able to ask someone or the tour guide. When smoking make sure you are far from others.   Took Mentor Reisen’s Eagle’s Nest Tour with guide Cansel and driver Bashkim (sp?). Both did a terrific job!! Cansel worked very hard and gave us interesting information and handled all of the logistics flawlessly! She also had good tips for seeing the different sights that made the trip better. In addition she did her job in a way that was both fun & efficient, a combo that is hard to pull off. Bashkim was professional and courteous: for instance, while we were on foot at the sights he cleaned the bus windows again of any dirt etc so we’d have crystal clear views the rest of the trip. Not many drivers would take this extra step, so kudos to him!! And, the beer available for purchase on the bus for a reasonable price made the drive back quite easy!! Fun, interesting trip! Do it!!

  Great tour! I wish we had had more time in Berchtesgaden. The guide (Franscisca sp?) was very informative and helpful. I would recommend this tour.

  Excellent and interesting trip. The coach driver and the guide Mary Ann, were both excellent, and Mary Ann's knowledge made for a very interesting trip and history lesson. Unfortunately when we got up to the Eagle's nest it was shrouded in mist, but you can't control the weather, can you? It's a trip well worth doing.

  Very good tour. Our guide Fransiska was very knowledgeable and helpful. She kept us on time and I highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to learn more about history and see beautiful scenery along the drive.

  Fantastic day out very well organised and executed. Highly recommend. Bus was very comfortable for the long journey. Please note cash is required for entrance to the eagles nest. Our tour guide who was excellent collected the cash on board and paid for the tickets.

  Great views of Bavarian Alps. Enjoyed the guides many stories and information. The only thing is be very aware of how much cash you need. It’s an additional 35 euros per person to ride bus to the Eagles Nest. It would make a lot more sense to include this in the initial purchase price. There was one group of five people that did not have the fair in cash. Guide floated them the money until they were shown an ATM at the final stop. I could see how this could ruin your day!
