5.00Alex was incredible in every way! Starting with our drive from Munich - the day was near perfect! He helped us navigate the Eagle's Nest experience! We then had a delicious, authentic lunch in Salzburg. He then showed us all the highlights in Salzburg, including lots of Sound of Music spots! Would hire him again in a heartbeat!

5.00We had a marvellous day with our tour guide and driver Alex Brundl at Neuschanstein and the surrounding area. Alex is the consummate professional, providing us with excellent advice on how to get the most out of our visit to the castle , ensuring that we were taken to the best vantage points for photography and avoiding the crowds. Alex took us to a delightful small village on the way to the castle for coffee and then very authentic German eatery for lunch. From there we took a cable car to the top of a nearby mountain for magnificent vistas and a chance to explore the intriguing ruins of two former forts. All in all, it was a throughly enjoyable day and great way to get to know a most picturesque part of Bavaria.

Alex’s knowledge and experience enabled us to maneuver in, out and around the Eagle’s Nest and Salzburg with great speed and ease providing us the ability to see and do more. His native like command of English kept us at ease and ensured we did not miss a thing. I highly recommend you seek Alex out through Mike’s Private Tours. 5.00We had an incredible private tour of the Eagle’s Nest and Salzburg—truly one of the highlights of our trip! Alex, our guide was punctual, personable, and impressively multilingual, speaking four languages including English, which made communication seamless throughout the day. His knowledge of the region’s history, especially the WWII sites and Salzburg’s cultural gems, added so much depth to the experience. From breathtaking alpine views to fascinating stories, every moment felt thoughtfully curated. Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking for a meaningful and well-organized adventure through Bavaria and Austria!

5.00This private tour was excellent and worth the cost. Our guide, Alex, was fun, knowledgeable and made the whole experience better. He handled all the arrangements and gave us helpful suggestions and options throughout the day. Eagles Nest, Honigsee and Salzburg made for a long day but was extremely enjoyable and one we’ll remember forever. Alex was a big part of that. I’d strongly recommend Mike’s Private Tours and Alex as a guide, it’s a great experience. We’ve already planned another one!
