5.00Its very informational, it will soon be what they call a shelf glacier. Troy Ford our trolly driver eas amazing, pointed out wildlife, told stories and history. The trolly was fun , much better than a bus. Will definately do again. Well worth it!!!!

3.00The Glacier is great to see but unless you are capable of taking the long trail to get closer, there is not much to see for the two hours you are left there before the return pickup. The Visitor Center is interesting but seating is very limited to a cushioned ledge along the front window. Some water was available, nothing else. Restrooms are very available. Our day was cold and rainy which made a long wait in the crowded Visitor Center. The bus driver was on time and very friendly, even stopping the bus to show us a Momma bear with cubs just off the road.

5.00The trolley was super convenient and always on time, and we had a blast on the ride! Our driver, Wayne, was also a wealth of knowledge, sharing great tips on which trails to explore at Mendenhall Glacier. Plus, he’s fantastic at spotting eagles, so everyone got to see them too.

5.00This is an excellent tour with good history and geography facts about the area. Not too scientific but enough to make you appreciative of the glacier history. Hurry, because in another 5 to 10 years, this glacier will be gone.
