What To Expect
Teatro Nacional Sao Joao

Sao Bento Railway Station
この駅は 20 世紀初頭に建設され、1916 年 10 月 5 日に正式に開業しました。 この建物は、新しい建物を建てるために取り壊された古いサン・ベント・デ・アヴェ・マリア修道院の跡地に建てられました。 この建築プロジェクトは建築家ホセ・マルケス・ダ・シルバによるもので、そのスタイルはフランスの影響を受けたボザール様式です。 建物はU字型で、内部トンネルによって鉄道網に接続されており、ポルト・カンパニャ線やその他の路線に接続しています。 駅の最大の魅力の一つは、20,000枚を超える歴史的なタイルで覆われた内部です。 これらのパネルは、1905 年から 1908 年にかけてホルヘ・コラソによって描かれたもので、ポルトガルの歴史、田舎の生活、交通、歴史的な瞬間の場面が描かれています。 アトリウムの上部には、この地域の重要な川である「ドウロ川」や「ミーニョ川」などの碑文が見られます。 この駅は都市鉄道と地域鉄道のターミナル駅です。

5.00Bruno show us around the main Attractions in Porto with no rush, he was polite and friendly. He let us take photos and took photos of us in some of the spot we visit. I think this experience is worth doing if you want to see what Porto has to offer before you start exploring on your own. It was a little over an hour for €30 each.
