Yosemite Falls

Yosemite trip with Lasting Adventures

5.00We’ve just returned from a three day Yosemite trip with Lasting Adventures, for a group of five adults. Plenty of hiking and outdoor activities in good and not so good weather (luckily, with the right clothing), ably facilitated by our excellent guide Kara, who has many years experience with Lasting Adventures. She was knowledgeable, organised, and great fun. We originally wanted to do a multi day snow shoe trip, but unfortunately the snow was insufficient to allow this, so an alternative program was put in place at short notice. Lasting Adventures is a NFP and via their scholarship program is able to provide access to outdoor adventures to children who may otherwise not be able to participate in such activities, so it’s great to know that our trip is able to support bringing the benefits of immersion in nature to the next generation.

5.00We had a great time on this tour, our guide was knowledgeable and friendly and he gave us useful advice for the following days. I would highly recommend this tour, especially for people who are new to Yosemite, like ourselves. We were the only ones on this particular tour so the experience was really tailored for us, which was fantastic.

5.00I had a great time on the valley walk. Tha guide did agreat job even with some of the trails closed. He kept up an informative and entertaining narrative the whole 6 hours of the hike.

4.00Nate is a great guide, informative and accommodating. If you're like us clueless on hikes this is a great way to start until you're good on your own. Plus he gives you tips on the next hikes to take on your own too.

4.00Our tour guide was very informational with the history of the park. We toured Yosemite Falls, the valley as well as Mirror Lake. She also gave us a map of other tours/hikes for the other days we were in the park. Great Experience!
