  Prompt, well organised, lots to see and learn. be ready to experience a fast paced experience on the historical, cultural and aesthetic beauty and richness of Vietnam. Buffet lunch was exceptional. Favourite highlight was the boat ride at Tam Coc exploring the tunnel cave system. Our tour guide, Tom punctuated the tour with an engaging and interesting historical and cultural commentary of each site.

  Alex was amazing at getting all the finer details arranged for our family holiday. Food tour, Ninh Binh, all ground transport - everything went without an hitch and he was super helpful and knowledgeable. Highly recommend his services if you’re ever visiting Vietnam and just need someone to get things done. Legend service!!!

  My family of four visited Vietnam over 2 weeks of span. I first contacted Bàch aka Alex for Ha Long Bay tickets, very quick to respond, he got us the tickets in a very short time. Then we booked him for Ninh Binh private tour and it was the best decision to go for private tour, the quality of service (private car, driver, private guide, customizable timeline/itinerary, efficiency, lunch, and so much more) was absolutely worth it. Alex sent us his best guide, Vū for Ninh Binh Tour. Vū was highly knowledgeable of Ninh Binh areaand also fluent in English. He made the 2 hour drive from Hanoi to Ninh Binh pass quickly with his knowledge and narrative of the area. Vū guided us up the Hang Mua, allowing us to set the pace. The climb was rewarded with truly breathtaking views. He took many beautiful photos of us , so we basically had a personal photographer too! We had plenty of time to enjoy the views which was nice because we weren’t in a rush and there wasn’t a set schedule. Lunch at a nice local restaurant was very good and again at our pace. The company reached out to me before the tour to inquire about food allergies and preferences which was very thoughtful. Boating down the Thung Nang River with water lillies on both sides was really dreamy. It was amazing to see how our boat driver paddled using his feet! Traveling down the river and through the caves was such a delight with contrast of light and dark through the caves and the beautiful water lilies and mountainous landscape in the background. Considering everything that we did- the mountain climb, riber boat ride, visit to a Bich Dong pagoda, lunch, visit to Hoa Lu Complex, the travel time to and from, and Hanoi traffic- our driver and Vū were able to get us back on time. We never felt rushed, the day was efficient, and most importantly- we really had a wonderful time! Upon getting back to Hanoi, we visited train street at night after dinner. We requested Alex/Bàch to join us at the train street. Northern side of train street was closed so he took us to southern side. Alex is very fluent in English, versatile and funny, we had an awesome couple of hours with him. He booked us a Grab back to our hotel from train street. He also booked us tickets to Water Puppet Show. Overall, I would highly recommend this tour if you want a more personalized experience. Thank you Nom Nom Travels for an unforgettable day!
