  We had a fantastic time visiting the elephant orphanage and watching 35 baby elephants get their morning milk. They were like a bunch of toddlers. Then we went to Udawalawa park and saw lots of elephants , monkeys, deer and water buffalo . Maidu was our guide who was very good . I would definitely recommend this tour.

  Dreams Wild were very accommodating in the lead up to the tour, as our group kept getting larger we ended up with 4 vehicles for our group of 20 pax. They picked us up from the cruise port and delivered us back with plenty of time do there was no stress about missing the Ship. We did the Udawalawe National Park Safari and Elephant Orphanage tour. We saw many animals with even some rare sightings of a Jackel and Mongoose, lots of elephant and deer and a multitude of birds. The guides were excellent, thanks so much for an excellent day.

  Well organized tour and guide tried extremely hard to get us to orphanage on time for the show, to spot elephants in the park snd to move into positions to get us good camera angles. His English wasn’t great, but good enough to get his point across.

  We particularly enjoyed the time spent at the elephant orphanage when we saw elephants of all ages drinking milk from bottles. We saw crocodiles, an eagle, several other birds and lots of elephants in the safari park but no leopards) we were probably too late)

  Fantastic from start to finish, picked up the tour from the cruise port, great driver informative and very helpful, provided snacks and water throughout the trip, baby elephants was definitely the highlight of our trip.

  This was one of the best excursions I’ve ever done in my life. Our guide was so helpful very sweet and knowledgeable. The sightseeing was amazing and the Jeep was clean and comfortable. It was a very pleasant experience.

  This was a great experience. We actually got tired of seeing so many elephants up close. We saw elephant families, crocodiles, deer and many birds. The whole trip was done in a safari type vehicle. Good experience.

  Was a great experience riding in a safari jeep from the cruise port and thru the Udawalawa National Park, was approximately one hour drive. We didn’t see as many elephants as prior reviews but it was because we were there in the afternoon. Highlight of the tour was going to the Elephant Orphanage. This tour is so much cheaper than the cruise excursions and does the exact same thing. Have to add a negative comment regarding the pick up process. We were one of the first off the ship, we met our driver and were escorted to our jeep. We sat there for over 30 minutes while other vehicle's left right away. This was very frustrating and we kept asking our driver to leave. I would still recommend this tour, was a fun day!
