ツアーはアドリフト トンガリロ ベースで開始および終了します。アドリフト・トンガリロ基地間の輸送（53 Carroll St、National Park Village）
これはトラックではなく、トンガリロアルパインクロッシングよりも歩行が不安定です。
この散歩には適度なフィットネスが必要です。地形は不均一で急勾配です。フィットネスに不安がある場合は、ノールリッジカフェまで散歩することができます。
冬と雪の時期には、表面の状態は日によって異なります。アイゼンとアイスの軸が必要です。ガイドがそれらを正しく使用する方法を説明します。
すべての送迎はツアー当日の朝にアドリフト基地に集合し、そこでガイドが全員をチェックインし、日帰り旅行の条件を確認し、必要な装備を評価し、必要に応じて追加の衣服やブーツを提供します。
リクエストに応じて、タウポ、トゥランギ、オハクネ、ファカパパ ビレッジからの送迎を追加料金でご利用いただけます。すべての送迎には最低 2 名が必要です。冬季の御白根送迎は行っておりません。
最低年齢は 12 歳です。
夏用装備リスト: 水 (1 ～ 2 リットル)、個人用医薬品 (例: 喘息の吸入器、水ぶくれ防止など)、日よけ帽子、日焼け止め、サングラス、1 人あたりのバックパック、ハイキング ブーツ/靴、ウォーキング ズボン、薄手の上着 1 枚と暖かい上着 2 枚レイヤー（ウール、メリノ、サーマル、フリース、ソフトシェルなどが適しています）、防水レインコート。
冬用装備リスト: 水 (1 ～ 1.5 リットル)、個人用医薬品 (例: 喘息の吸入器、水ぶくれ防止など)、日焼け止め、サングラス、1 人あたりのバックパック、ハイキング ブーツ、サーマル ロングパンツおよび/またはウォーキング パンツとオーバー パンツ、暖かい上着 3 枚重ね着（ウール、メリノ、サーマル、フリース、ソフトシェルなどが適しています）、防水レインコート、暖かい帽子、手袋。

Mt Ruapehu
山ルアペフは、トンガリロ国立公園内の3つの活動的な安山岩火山の中で最高（2797m）です。山の最後の噴火ルアペフは2007年にありました。北島で最も高い火山の頂上で昼食に参加してください。そこから火口湖の地熱水を見下ろすことができます。

A wonderful climb to the top of the North Island!

5.00We were so grateful that our guide, Mark, dragged himself from his sickbed to take a couple of "olds" on a hike they had intended doing for many years. Going that day was critical was critical because of other things set in place on either side of it. We are so grateful to Adrift Tongariro for realising this need and making it happen, not to mention the weather gods for playing their part. Whilst it was a tough walk, Mark eased this through his continual encouragement and advice and we really enjoyed the superb lunch we had opted for whilst we looked down on the Crater Lake. It was definitely worthwhile taking the Sky Waka to give us a good head start and we enjoyed a flat white in their cafe as a reward on the way back down. Our heartfelt thanks to all the team at Adrift Tongariro, but especially to Mark, for helping us experience the warm glow of achievement!

5.00Booked a solo trip up Ruapehu but the weather didn’t look good. Adrift was very clear in their communication to customers- call ahead 3 days out to confirm. Ruapehu was out but maybe the crossing? Talked to Stew the night before after the weather report and he couldn’t advise to do the crossing. Full refund. I appreciate the company taking safety seriously. Weather happens. Good communication from them. Will try again another time.

5.00If you do think you don't need a guide please read the following: Solo alpine hiking is not recommended so I booked my trip with Adrift e few months in advance. This gave me enough the time to prepare myself for a full days hike/climb. Although I'm not foreign to long hikes and tough terrain but on this hike it was all different. Stu and Hiro were the guides for that day and had everything well prepared and organised. Everything went well up till moment I got confronted with an underlying issue that I wasn't aware off despite my fitness level it literally brought me to my knees. Stu made a good judgement and assessment of the situation. In a calm and professional manner the decision was made that I went down with Hiro. Stu kept in contact during this descent till the point he knew I made it safely back to the car. All I can say I can't thank these guys enough. They know what they are doing and will do everything to make sure you have a safe and enjoyable experience. I can highly recommend Adrift
