The Parmeggiano tour was ok. The ham tour was not worth the trip . It was very basic and difficult to hear and understand

This was the tour that I didn’t know that I needed to take. Wow, how fun and informative this was. I will never look at Parmesan cheese or prosciutto the same way again. My husband and I now delve into all of the intricacies that go into making both of these wonderful foods. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable about the process and of course the area of Parma. We had a fun group there were eight of us in total. I would completely recommend this to anyone who is interested in how the cheese and hams are prepared and if I’m being honest, the taste testing at the end was pretty good too!
Thanks to Salvatore for sharing his knowledge about the Parma cheeses and strawberries with a lot of education and dedication

Excellent excursion, with an exceptional guide, both in knowledge of the entire Edo script process. Highly educated person of finess. Salvatore was a highlight of the tour.

We truly enjoyed seeing how the parmigiana and Parma ham are made and certified. We saw so much - from the grass to the baby cows to the cheese being removed from the vats. We learned what a long and patient process it is and even how the certification process works. Paulo was a terrific guide.

We visited Parma for our first time and wanted the “full effect” of what the area has to offer. This tour of the cheese and prosciutto factory did just that! Our tour guide a retired engineer was very knowledgeable and witty in his own way. The samplings at both factory were a real treat and beyond —delizioso! We got to meet the owner of the prosciutto factory and he took great pride in his product. Overall a great experience and a must do if you are in the Parma area.
