  I enjoyed driving around and seeing the sights. We didn’t drive close to several of them but I guess you can hop off and do that. We couldn’t get the audio to work. I always like these better when there is a guide on board telling about the sights. Instead we drive around in silence.

  The hop-on hop-off bus was a very disappointing experience. The drivers did not provide any information, did not use the speakers, and did not interact with passengers at all. As a tourist, you have no idea where to get off or what you are seeing. To make matters worse, many of the bus stops were difficult to find, with very limited signage and poor directions. We wasted a lot of time trying to locate the correct stops. In my opinion, this was not worth the money. I would strongly recommend booking a private tour or a golf cart tour instead. You'll see much more, receive better information, and have a far better overall experience.

  Typical big red bus store, you’ve been on one you know what I mean. Sometimes hard to follow the buildings they’re talking about because if you’re at the back of the bus, you’re already passed them by the time you hear the announcement

  The tour gave us the overview of the key sites in Rome which was what we were looking for. But the commentary was irritating and covered some irrelevant facts while not talking about some of the sites we were passing. Not the tour company’s fault, but the traffic was also awful, and the driver was very jerky as a result. It made the tour less relaxing than we expected it to be.

  I am writing to say a big thank you to Laszlo Pergel from Big Bus Rome. Myself and my mum were on an excursion with Big Bus from RC harmony on 28th May. My mum fell and fractured her arm and we ended up in Santo Spirito hospital in Rome. Laszlo was there for me on watsap all day and helped me figure out what to do during the day. He also contacted Royal Carribean for us to let us know that we were not going to make it back to the ship. I was alone, trying to deal with getting an emergency flight home. Laszlo was continually checking in with me and helping me navigate the best way forwar, he kept doing so, late into the evening which I suspect was well outside his working hours. I would just like to say a really big thank you to Laszlo who went above and beyond for us, I am totally thankful for his kindness and his time. I Really do hope he know how much we appreciated him just being there. We arrived home in Dublin the next day and my mum has since had her operation and is healing well. We are eternally grateful for his kindness that day. I would totally recommend Big Bus Tours to anyone Travelling in Rome because you never know when you will need assistance and these guys are Fantastic. My Family and I also used Big Bus in Paris when we were there in September of 2025 and their service was Amazing then, that is why we used them again and we are so glad we did 🥰

• One day ticket really just a few hours

  Bought a day ticket which usually lasts 24 hours. This ticket ended at 7 pm that day. Buying after 1 pm did not give enough time. Wish I knew this when I purchased ticket (it was for less than 6 hours).

  Some walk to sites are required, please ask for directions. The trevi fountain was incredible but was a bit of a walk to get to

• Big Bus Rome is the best

  We bought tickets to the Big Bus Rome (maroon colored) bus line and realized it was 100% better than the other bus lines. It came around every 5-10 minutes. We made the mistake to try the pink bus a week later and realized very quickly that we made a huge mistake as we waited at the drop on/off and six Big Bus Rome buses stopped before the pink bus came around. Big Bus Rome was also much cleaner and the seats were much more comfortable.

  This is definitely way overpriced. It’s nice to sit outside and get a good look at everything, but the audio guide was not working, and the driver didn’t even follow the designated route. But on the bright side you can look down on everyone.
