  We had an excellent time with Bill. We really enjoyed him. The food was sooooooo good!!! Really good and not things I’d have tried on my own. We were stuffed! Thank you!

  

  

• Don’t Waste Your Money

  We seldom give a tour a low rating; please check our other reviews. It’s not an inexpensive tour— over $300 for both of us. Our tour guide, Bill, was pleasant and had some interesting stories and information. The food did not live up to the price. For example—we split a lobster roll with less than desirable roll and strange dressing. The olive oil company is the same as the location in Freeport where we are staying. The chocolate samples were good and VERY small. How about something to take with us? The haddock Ruben was good. Is all of this worth $300 for 2. Certainly not a culinary adventure.

  Our guide was Bill. He set the perfect pace for the tour with just the right amount of time to enjoy the food before moving to the next location. All the food was delicious! Bill also talked about the history of Rockland which was interesting and informative. My favorites were Fiori and the chocolate factory. I don’t think we would have found all the food restaurants/stores on our own so the tour was a good choice for us.

  I am a Chef. Every stop we made was great! Tami Lyn was a fun informative guide. I would recommend it to anyone.
