4.00We enjoyed the shuttle ride to Whakapapa ski fields as part of a summer/autumn trip through New Zealand. The landscape shaped by volcanic action was awesome to see without snow and would have some drawbacks for winter skiing I believe. However this is a review of our guided shuttle trip and the driver who was most informative about the whole region. Our ride finished back at the National Park railway station where we rejoined the Northern Explorer on our way to Wellington.

5.00Gloria was awesome on the phone making miracles happen and getting our group of 8 (4 adults and 4 kids) up the mountain so that the kids could enjoy the snow. We were planning on driving up but the weather conditions meant we were not able to and all the shuttles were either booked out or not taking children under 3 years. We are very grateful and the driver and service was excellent! Fully recommend to everyone!

5.00One of the best experience ever. I recommend to take the shuttle bus at 5:30 am, you can see the sunrise at that time and it is less crowded that in an other times
