  We had an amazing day with Ian! He was able to adjust the trip to fit our schedule with our 3.5 year old daughter. We were able to stop and allow Rebecca to play in the snow plus ample stops to stretch legs and see the sights. Highly recommend! I would say this tour would fit into schedules best the day after your arrive, if flying in between 11pm and 2 am, as tour typically leaves between 1 and and 2 pm, great bridge to full on tour mode and during summer hours, it was beautiful to see the sun set at the end of our day around midnight!

  This tour was a wonderful experience Our guide Ian was an excellent driver, very knowledgeable about all aspects of the journey and the Arctic Circle itself. He was very professional and a pleasure to be with Would definitely recommend this bucket list adventure.

  We had an absolutely unforgettable experience with Ian on our Arctic Circle tour. From the very start, he was incredibly friendly, thoughtful, and genuinely caring—making us feel completely at ease. Ian gave a fantastic introduction to the area, sharing insights and stories that really brought the whole experience to life. What stood out most was his patience and dedication—he made sure we had every chance to see the Northern Lights, never rushing us and always keeping the atmosphere relaxed and enjoyable. Travelling with a 7-year-old can sometimes be challenging, but Ian was brilliant with our son—engaging, kind, and making sure he was just as excited and comfortable throughout. Seeing our child so happy made the whole trip even more special. Thanks to Ian, this wasn’t just a tour—it was a truly memorable experience we’ll cherish for a long time.   An incredible experience for our family. Ian was an excellent guide- very comfortable car for the five of us, made great conversation, super knowledgeable and had excellent driving on the Dalton Highway. This was such a unique piece of the planet to get to visit and we’re grateful to Ian for making our journey safe and enjoyable from start to finish!

  Amazing trip. Super comfortable and safe ride with a great guide. Ian is versed in Alaskan history, wildlife, weather and so much more. He’s superb driver, with fully equipped car. When talking in CB radio with truckers on the road he shows respect and kindness. We had great music for our ride and he didn’t mind when we all started singing along. It was best carpool karaoke. Ian is a good singer too. The trip passes many different eco biomes. Very interesting and never boring. Accommodating, comfortable, safe, entertaining.   This was an Incredible Experience and Highly Recommended! The private tour allows you to go at your own pace and see more of the sights! Ian is a Fantastic tour guide and made sure we were taken care of, was very informative and a great guide! Highly Recommended!

• Arctic Circle expedition for those who appreciated the journey

  Ian is good driver, provided comfort on safety with his experience and very familiar with the journey to Arctic Circle. The journey to Arctic circle passed through the enchanted forest that is low in visibility and icy road. The road is muddy and slippery after rain in past days however Ian controlled the vehicle very well. It is remote highway with no network and basically rely on wakie talkie and satellite phone. We heard the road is dusty during summer and icy during winter. Here we experienced muddy and icy routes. We stopped over at Yukon camp which is clean and tidy and a must stop over after a long drive. When we stepped into his car we wonder why the car is kind of dirty however after completing the tour the whole car was in brown color and muddy. Arctic circle exploration through Dalton highway is really once in a lifetime experience and private tour provided the flexibility though it is expensive. Luck is not with us as there was no northern light and low alert that night.

  It was great having our own private driver. The vehicle is new and kept in great shape. Ian is very knowledgeable about this Highway and was a careful driver.
