  Best Ever Guide Manoj!!! Monoj gave me the most thorough tour of my trip to Mumbai. He even took beautiful photos for me. Five star experience!!! Patience, kindness and excellent teaching!

  Private speedboat from India Gate to the islands where we met Manoj our local guide. He expertly guided us through the caves giving us just the right amount of detail about the history and religion. Also brilliant at knowing the best spot to take a photo.   The boat guide showed up 25 minutes late. We were still the second boat at the island with a 9am departure. The steps are killer be prepared in the hotter months. Since the shops were not open yet it was a long trek with no breaks. The land guide Manoj was good he is from and lives on the island. Very knowledgeable. Offered us water on the way up. We looked at all of the earlier attempts to make the temple. It is a shame the ruins are so damaged but the point gets across. The boat ride back offers the opportunity to cool off and dry off. They stop in front of india gate for pics if you like. Overall great to be there with no crowds and with a fast commute total tour was 2 hours.   Great afternoon with Manoj and Abhi. We were 2 adults and 1 child (5yrs) and they helped keep the tour entertaining for everyone. Manoj was very informative and gave us a lot of information about the caves. He looked after us and pointed out the last place to buy water or use the restrooms which is also helpful. He also helped keep our son entertained when he was getting tired and even carried him and our bag for a bit. The private speedboat was definately worth the extra £££ as it sped up the travel time by almost 3x than the ferry.

  We had a great time this morning with Sam for a private guided tour of Elephanta island. We learned lots of new facts and it was nice to see the caves before all the tourists arrived.
