What To Expect
Juma Mosque
シャマヒ最大のランドマークは、アゼルバイジャンで最大かつ最も豪華な礼拝所の 1 つであるジュマ モスクです。現在の建物は 2013 年に再建されましたが、最も古い建物は 743 年に建てられたもので、コーカサスで 2 番目に古く、アゼルバイジャンで最も古いモスクとなっています。それ以来、このモスクは何度も破壊され、再建されています。最も有名なのは、1859 年にシャマヒを瓦礫と化した壊滅的な地震と、その後の 1918 年の民族間衝突です。歴史的および宗教的な重要性を発見するだけでなく、この場所の優雅さと静けさに浸るだけでも楽しめます。
Nohur Lake

5.00I had the opportunity to explore the beauty and culture of Azerbaijan on a private full-day tour that highlighted four regions. This journey showcased the iconic landmarks and experiences of Shamakhi, Ismayilli, Gabala, and Sheki, all within a 12-hour timeframe. Our driver and tour guide, Rafeeqa, was highly professional, accommodating, and reliable throughout the tour. We began our journey by visiting the historic and stunning architecture of the Jummah Mosque, which holds local significance. Cross a nerve-wracking hanging bridge in Ismayilli for a short sightseeing walk and take in the stunning mountain views. Enjoy a relaxing local lunch in Gabala, surrounded by the beautiful natural scenery and the picturesque Nohur Lake. One of the highlights of our trip was exploring the magnificent 18th-century Palace of Shaki Khans, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that truly showcases the brilliance of Azerbaijani architecture. We also had the opportunity to stroll through the historic Karvansaray, where we captured some memorable photographs. Lastly, we visited Kish Village, travelling in a charming vintage car as we navigated the narrow roads, alleys, and cobblestone streets. Within the village, we discovered the ancient Church of Kish, a historic Caucasian Albanian temple. The trip and experience were truly remarkable, and I would highly recommend the tour with Baku Heritage Travel if given the opportunity.

5.00I took two tours from Baku Heritage Tours, and it was an incredible experience. Booking is fast and convenient via WhatsApp, and payment can be done online via a payment link. The customer representative is attentive and replies immediately. I managed to book my tour in less than an hour. They advise on the itinerary schedules and ticket/admission pricing for the locations beforehand. The tour staff are punctual and polite (Cheers to my guide, Mr. Keenan, and his colleague who drove me to Gabala) Overall, it is an incredible experience worth trying! Tours I booked are private Gobustan - Absheron and Gabala - Shamakhi Tour.

5.00Superb planning and communication by Baku heritage tours. Very comfortable journey throughout and very informative. I wud like to mention the name of the guides ELSHAD, RAMIZ and NAZIR who really went an extra mile to keep us entertained DEFINITELY WILL RECOMMEND.
