• An Elite Hiking Experience with Khairul – The Highlight of Langkawi

  If you are looking for an active, authentic experience in Langkawi, you need to book this private hike with Khairul. He was absolutely incredible and set the standard for what a private guide should be. Khairul is an expert on physically active travel. He immediately assessed our fitness levels and tailored the pace perfectly to ensure we got a workout without compromising the experience. The hike itself was stunning, especially the opportunity to swim in the private pools beneath the waterfalls. Beyond the trail, Khairul provided immense value. He identified the best photo spots and proactively captured incredible memories for my wife and me. He didn’t just say goodbye at the end; he recommended other specific hikes in Langkawi and directed us to a fantastic local spot for lunch.   Lowlights 1) it was raining in the morning and were umable to reschedule 2) language barrier 3) no notice to bring rubber boots, tower 4) it would be good you supply an umbrella and traking sticks 5) it would be good to hear about leeches in advance Highlights 1) safe trip (fortunately even being distracted by cellphone) 2) nice photo 3) burned calories 4) new experience 5) wonderful nature To Tripadvise only There is still no refund for the canceled trip in May (Istanbul) due to canceled and reschduled flight. This is forse major and your actions and / or notice would be appriciated. As of today, i have only confirmation that my refund request is submitted.   Khairul is a wonderful tour guide. We took a grab from Mwcure which took 30min. Khairul met us at the entrance to park at 8.30 which waz great as very few tourists around. He was so kind and was happy to adapt the pace to suit us. We saw some beautiful sites and it was so relaxing chatting to him as we went. There are a few spots you can swim if you like. Recommend bug spray, hat, towel and water but at the end of our visit there was a shop you could get cold drinks and food. The trail is very well maintained and we walked it in flip flops.   Telaga Tujuh (Seven Wells) is one of Langkawi’s most beautiful natural spots. It features seven natural pools at different levels, formed by a cascading waterfall. The short but steep hike to the top rewards you with stunning views, cool water, and a peaceful rainforest atmosphere. The upper pools are great for a dip, but be careful as the rocks can be slippery. Basic facilities are available at the base. It’s free to enter and best visited in the morning or late afternoon to avoid crowds. Perfect for nature lovers, hikers, and anyone looking for a refreshing escape.

  It was an amazing trip hiking up Gunung Machinchang and also discovering the different natural waterfalls and freshwater pools there. The guide, Mr Khairul Nizam was very friendly, informative and knowledgeable about the park itself. Most importantly, he made sure of our safety and well-being. 10/10 would recommend this guided trip to someone who wants a unique experience during their trip to Langkawi!
