  What an amazing tour of Diocletian’s Palace! The experience was both informative and engaging, bringing centuries of history to life in a way that was easy to understand and genuinely fascinating. Nebo was incredibly knowledgeable, answering all of our questions with enthusiasm and providing insights that went far beyond the typical tour. What I appreciated most was the relaxed pace—we never felt rushed despite the crowds, which allowed us to fully take in the architecture, stories, and rich history of this remarkable place. The conversation throughout the tour wasn’t just educational; it was interesting, interactive, and memorable.   We had a great time in the tour with Prof. Nebo! He was very knowledgeable about the history of Split and Croatia, and we learned that the Croatia of today was shaped by different empires such as the Austrian-Hungarian, Ottoman, and Roman/Venetian. In a world where facts and knowledge can be found online, we were so refreshed and inspired to hear the history come alive during his tour. He also gave us many local recommendations for restaurants and sights in Split which was really helpful. Thank you Prof. Nebo and continue to inspire many tourists (maybe even locals too) with your vast knowledge and passion in the history of Croatia and Split.

  We had a fantastic private tour of Split with our guide, Nibo. He was knowledgeable, engaging, and made the city’s history come alive. The tour was well-paced and personalized, and we learned so much while enjoying ourselves. Highly recommend Nibo for anyone visiting Split!

  Nebo provided the most in-depth and fascinating tour of Diocletian's palace that can be found in Split. We were in split for 5 days and went on 4 tours and this was BY FAR the most interesting and entertaining. His breadth of knowledge was unparallel. I'm a history buff and couldn't wait to go. However, my daughter isn't into history and initially wanted to stay in the hotel. Not only did he keep her entertained, but she has also been sharing stories and wants to come back!!! He was also able to speak with authority on all things Croatia to include the conflicts in the 1990s - HE WROTE A BOOK ON IT! I cannot recommend his tour enough. It was the last tour we took on our last day. You would have thought we would have learned much of what he was telling us. NOPE! The details he included were captivating! I wish we had more days to take his other tours. I have been discussing and sharing as many details as I can remember about the palace since we got back. Frankly my friends and family are tired of hearing about it. They want to see it for themselves!! He made my daughter and me want to learn more!   I recently went on a guided tour of Diocletian’s Palace in Split, and it was absolutely worth it, especially because of our amazing guide. He was interesting, funny, and explained everything in such a captivating way that even the most ancient parts of the palace felt alive. From the very beginning, he kept everyone engaged with stories and little-known facts about the palace and Roman history. You could tell he really loved what he was doing. He didn’t just list historical fact, he made us feel like we were walking through the palace 1 700 years ago. We learned how Diocletian lived, why the palace was built the way it was, and how people still live inside the old Roman walls today.
