• Fantastic visit to The Great Wall

  We had a fantastic day visiting the Great Wall at Mutianyu. Our driver, Wu, was fantastic. He was really friendly and knowledgeable. We were a little disappointed as it was raining on the day we visited but he picked us up from our hotel on time and told us we were lucky as it would be less busy and it was better that it wasn’t hot. He was absolutely right. We chose to be picked up at 6.30am so we arrived in time to have a coffee whilst Wu sorted out our tickets and the cable car. We couldn’t use the chair lift or toboggan as it was wet but that didn’t spoil things at all. Wu came up in the cable car with us and took lots of photos and videos of us at the start of our walk along the walk then left us to explore at our own pace. It was very quiet for the most part and we walked along all the sections we could. When the rain stopped and the clouds lifted it was amazing. Fantastic views and really atmospheric. It really lived up to our expectations. Wu met us when we got back and helped us find a place for lunch then drove us back to our hotel. We felt very well looked after and safe in Wu’s capable hands.

  I could not recommend Jenny's Guide's and Henry the driver enough. Henry arrived on time at my hotel and the drive to Mutianyu and back was cool and comfortable. I was traveling solo and it was great to have someone like Henry to walk with me and quickly get me up to the chairlift at Mutianyu. The fact that we left Beijing early in the morning meant that we beat the significant waiting time at Mutianyu when we arrived. Again, highly recommend Jenny & Henry if you are going to the Great Wall!

  Our tour guide Peter was just fantastic. Show us great hospitality from the moment he picked us up and to the Great Wall. He was also patient enough to stop by their local restaurants for us to get some food before the hike up. Peter also brought us to a tea house (free) right afterwards.   I was travelling with my kid and we were well taken care of by Mr Wu from start to finish. He brought us all the way to the starting point, took the chairlift up with us and walked with us a distance showing us the great wall and taking pictures, before returning to the end point to wait for us while we continued exploring on our own. It was very smooth and the only kink was the weather (it rain unexpectedly in the middle of the day). If you would like a hassle free and comfortable experience to the great wall, this is a great option.

  Our driver Jack was awesome. Pickup was smooth. Jack took us to the entrance to the wall and help us get tickets to the cable car. We initially wanted to hike up but it was very rainy, so jack help us get tickets and told us what to do. Communication was easy and pickup was quick. Great VIP experience!

  We had a private car picking us up from hotel. The car was new and clean with some snacks which cheered up our daughter who was not excited to go for this trip at first. Jenny was an amazing driver, she kept us very comfortable and safe the entire trip. She also helped us to get tickets and even came all the way to the wall with us to take photos for us. She also helped to keep our daughter entertained while we were admiring the beauty of the sights. I would definately recommend this trip with Jenny especially.

  Our driver was Arien who made contact with us in advance to confirm arrangements. He met us at the hotel lobby as planned and drove us to the wall. We were picked up early because we wanted to avoid the crowds and it was definitely worth the early start. We wanted to do the west part of the wall so Arien arranged the cable car (additional cost). We were then left to go up to the wall and spend as much time as we needed. Overall this was the highlight of our family trip to Beijing and booking this experience meant that we didn’t have to worry about transport and tickets, it was all arranged for us.
