5.00We had a full 12 hour day that was simply magical. We saw all that we wanted to and the day went like clockwork. Our guide, Chase, was awesome. Informative, funny, interesting.

5.00My wife and daughter and I went for a full day private tour with Colter earlier this week (7/28/25). It was amazing. Not only was Colter extremely knowledgeable, but was very much keen to where we wanted to go and what we wanted to do, knowing we had been to Yellowstone in the past. He went out of his way to be creative and take us to places that are not on the usual 'first timers tour.' Most important to us, Colter was very engaging with our 10 year old, keeping her engaged in conversation and even enjoying some Mad Libs during a longer drive portion. This is an excellent company for touring Yellowstone and especially with families. Great time all around!

5.00Jack was our personal guide. Jack provided lots of information about the animals, various points of interest and details about the park. He made our day very leading and enjoyable. Jack picked an awesome spot for us to enjoy our lunch as well. It was a fabulous day for our family to enjoy

5.00My wife has some physical limitations so I booked a private tour for the two of us. We both agreed this would be the only time we would get to see Yellowstone and figured the cost was worth it. Our tour guide was CODY and he picked us up at the hotel in Cody. First thing I noticed was the interior of the van looked brand new. When I asked if this was a new vehicle, I was surprised to learn that it was a 2019. That told me right off the bat the company takes care of business. The tour was great. CODY was very knowledgeable and made sure we got to see all the great sites. He was very considerate making comfort stops as needed and seeing that my wife didn't have far to walk. We saw some great sites including a mama grizzly and cub along with a coyote feasting on a carcass along a riverbank. I would strongly recommend this company to anyone interested. I would also strongly recommend a private tour. Just consider that you will probably only go to Yellowstone once and you might as well do it right.

5.00Emma from CoveredGround Tours was our guide for a full day in Yellowstone. It was an amazing day. Emma is very knowledgeable about the park, the animals, and the geological features. We had a medical emergency in our group the day before our scheduled tour. Colter and Emma went out of their way to reschedule us. These two understand the value of customer service. Five stars and two thumbs up for this company.

5.00We had a limited time in Yellowstone so we decided to book a private tour and Colter and Kody, our driver, made sure we made the most of it. Colter inquired about what we really wanted to see and tailored the day for us. Kody was a fantastic guide! He is very knowledgeable about Yellowstone and Cody, WY and shared a lot of good information (facts, history and funny stories too) along the way and made the trip fun. This is such a busy time in the Park but Kody helped us see all the great spots in Yellowstone, everything we'd hoped to see including lots of wildlife. The bears were elusive that day but he went above & beyond trying to help us check that box. He also knew the in & outs of the Park and got us to good vantage points while missing the chaos of the parking lots and roadways. Kody also gave us good recommendations on how to spend our second day in the area. We could not have asked for a better, more relaxing and fun day in Yellowstone! Everyone in our family enjoyed the lunch too, especially the fruit and brownies. Highly recommend Covered Ground Tours.

5.00I booked the epic Yellowstone private tour while on a mother daughter vacation. Great experience! Out tour guide was Colter. He was pleasant and professional; he discussed with us what we wanted to see since we had been to Yellowstone before and focused the tour on our interests. The provided lunch was from a local business and was delicious. Colter was very knowledgeable about Yellowstone and surrounding area and even gave us recommendations for hikes on our way through the state and places to look for moose. Great tour and worth the price!

5.00A great tour of an amazing American landmark. My family and I had never been to Yellowstone and our tour allowed us to see all the sights that the park had to offer. Our tour guide Cody was friendly and very knowledgeable, enhancing an already amazing experience. If you have one day to spend in Yellowstone, using this tour guide would be a great way to go!

5.00We couldn't have gotten any luckier or had found a better tour guide for our group than Colter! Getting the attention of 9 girls on a bachelorette party can be quite difficult but Colter did that and more. He entertained, learned who we were, and taught us so much about the park and everything it had to offer. He was extremely professional, on time to pick us up, sent recommendations for lunch and most importantly, was a safe and cautious driver. Would recommend CoveredGround Tours 100x over to anyone who is looking to experience a fabulous and memorable time. Thank you Colter!!!
