• A Highlight of our Portugal Trip

  One of the highlights of our Portugal trip was a day tour of Sintra with Jummpy Adventures. We debated exploring on our own but are so glad we chose the tour experience instead. Our guide, Henrique, met us at the train station and off we went in a vintage jeep for a day filled with incredible scenery, local insights, and hidden gems. Along the way, we stopped at several beautiful viewpoints before heading to Pena Palace, where we explored the exterior and palace gardens. The Wall Walk offered spectacular views, though it’s definitely not for anyone uncomfortable with heights or tight spaces! Henrique introduced us to some traditional Sintra pastries. After a stroll through Sintra, we headed to the coast, stopping for fresh seafood and a great lunch at O Croa in Colares. The afternoon included several beach stops before ending at Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of mainland Europe. Henrique then dropped us off in Cascais, recommending a yummy ice cream shop and providing directions to the train station for our return to Lisbon. What truly made the day special was Henrique himself. His knowledge of Sintra and Portugal, his passion for football, and his genuine interest in getting to know us turned a great tour into an unforgettable experience. If you're planning a visit to Sintra, we highly recommend Jummpy Adventures—it was easily one of the best days of our trip.

  This was truly the best tour we have experienced on a vacation! Ricki is a wonderful guide who is passionate about his hometown and made us want to return to experience more of Sintra.   From the moment we met Tiago at our hotel in Lisbon (it was seamless to arrange pick up), our full day of adventure began! In addition to visiting Sintra, Pena Palace and Quinta de Regaleira at our own pace, we enjoyed lunch at a charming sidewalk cafe in Sintra and even a bit of shopping, then headed off to an afternoon of thrilling adventures including beach, Cabo de Roca lighthouse and breathtaking cliff side bluffs! We ended the day in Caiscais feeling like family! You will no doubt have many options for touring Sintra and Pena Palace however if you are looking for an experience that is completely immersive in the best sense, trust the capable team at Jummpy Tours.   This is our third time travelling to Portugal and every year we make sure to take a tour of Sintra with Jummpy Adventures. From start to finish this tour is incredible. Both Rafael and Henrique are extremely knowledgeable about the Sintra area and take great pride in their work. Communication is always timely and clear and booking and pickup is very easy. The tour is a perfect balance of fun stops and enjoyable time spent in the Jeep taking in the amazing views of the Sintra mountains. Both guides are safe and responsible drivers. The price is very reasonable for the length and quality of the tour. Even after doing this tour several times, it remains the highlight of our trip every year. We can't say enough good things, please consider Jummpy Adventures for your next trip!

  Tiago was an amazing guide, his Spanish was very good, and he explained everything very well with so many interesting facts and he recommended the best things to visit during the tour!   If you want something different than the bus tour then go with Jummpy adventure. We had an amazing day through the Sintra mountains and down the coast Rafel was friendly with lots of local knowledge lunch at a local seaside town great day

  Henrique was a fantastic guide. Energetic, enthusiastic and knowledgable. He showed us around his home town and told us some great stories about growing up in Sintra. He went above and beyond to make sure we were well catered for. He showed us so much of Sintra. Well worth having a guide and transport. I don’t know how we would have done it otherwise.

  Amazing experience—I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Europe. Rafael and his partner were truly outstanding guides, easily the best we’ve had anywhere in Europe. Their knowledge, energy, and passion made the entire experience unforgettable. They took us to the most breathtaking viewpoints that we never would have found on our own and introduced us to some of the most incredible food along the way. Every detail was thoughtfully planned, and they made sure everyone felt comfortable and taken care of.   our experience with the guide rafael was spectacular!! we recommend it 100% to anyone who visits sintra! we visited monuments, we saw beaches, we had lunch in a traditional restaurant, without words!!
