  It was a unique tour that gave us unforgettable moments on the island! I would recommend anyone who doesn't have much time, but wants to visit the most beautiful and special places of the island, to book this 8 permanent off-road tour! You won't regret it! We were also very lucky with our guide and the troupe. Great atmosphere throughout the ride. Spencer's doing his job first class. So much joke and laughter! If it takes me to Madeira again, then definitely this tour again!

  We had a fantastic tour led by Lino, he was informative, funny, kind & gracious. We packed so much in- 4x4 trip up to the plateau, with our first experience of Poncha. Then down to Porto Moniz for a delicious lunch. Then we went swimming in the volcanic pools which was fantastic & the drive back to our hotel took us via the skywalk for golden hour- a special day. We loved it so much we booked a second tour of the east of the island for our last day in Madeira! Lino was very knowledgable of all the endemic species of tree & fruit and the history of the island.

  We were picked up at 9am by Gerhard our guide. From the first minute we had the feeling that he really wants to show us the island. Before we started he asked us what we wanted to see and he planned the day after. The whole day was just great and we had a lot of fun. We drove a lot of off-road routes and saw corners that you wouldn’t get to see otherwise. Time didn't matter and we were only back by evening.   I’ve booked with this tour company multiple times now and my experiences have always been positive. I have requested Spencer since the first tour I had with him as he’s a great tour guide and has a lot of interesting information. Helps that he speaks German as well as English and Portuguese.   The tour with NELSON was really great. Everything went like clockwork, and Nelson really put his weight behind it. Were picked up very punctually around 0800 at Galosol Hotel. The passengers were very nice, the weather was mixed, but anyway, the places Nelson took us were sensational. Nelsen speaks 5 languages and that was remarkable. He answered all the questions, gave us a lot of information about the island and good tips. We will come back. Unfortunately, Nelson won't be around. Bey bey, see you soon.   We experienced a full day private trip to 2. plus our guide Spencer. Spencer knows everything about the island - you can tell he has found his home here for many years. In addition to a long really great off-road route, he showed us many beautiful sights and also gave us many tips and recommendations for our further holidays in Madeira.   This was one of the most amazing things I have ever done and the tour guide Nuno was one of the loveliest and most knowledgeable people I have had the pleasure of meeting. He told us so much about the island, it’s vegetation, traditions and took us some of the most spectacular places I have ever been. We went up mountains and up into the clods, off road through beautiful villages and explored places we would never have found on our own. Nothing was too much trouble for him and when we come back to Madeira we will definitely be booking another tour and asking for Nuno to be our guide.

  It was undoubtedly a fantastic day! The entire route is planned in detail! Amazing off-road trails, breathtaking natural pools and magnificent landscapes! The Nuno is fantastic! Super fun and gave us to know more about the history of Madeira and the beautiful landscapes! Thank you Green Devil Safari, we will return for more routes!
