  Tokoname has such a quiet, nostalgic charm. Walking through this historic pottery town felt calm and authentic, with handmade ceramic details appearing naturally throughout the streets. It was wonderful to learn about the town’s long pottery history and see how craftsmanship is still part of everyday life here. The cafés along the route were lovely, and enjoying tea surrounded by locally made pottery made the experience even more special.   We visited many traditional pottery workshops and experienced the culture of tea drinking. Walking around Tokoname City allowed me to feel the atmosphere of traditional Japanese culture. The guide explained everything with great care and even acted as an interpreter at the same time, which was incredibly thoughtful. I’m very grateful for such a well-organized and high-quality tour.

  The visit was really amazing ! The guide was so nice and so were the pottery maker and his wife. The whole experience was truly fantastic and off the bitten path. I recommend it warmly, especially if you are interested in pottery and ceramics. I would definitely do it again !
