Keita (our tour guide) was amazing! He was knowledgeable of the area and history of Japan. Keita’s English was perfect and I understood everything. I was even able to ask questions about Japan’s school system, teachers and students (as I work at a high school) and he answered all my questions with a smile on his face. I would recommend this tour but most of all try to get Keita!

Keita was great! He was extremely friendly, funny, and knowledgeable. He talked to our group for the majority of the bus ride to Shirakawa-go, telling us about general Japanese phrases we can practice and parts of Kanazawa to visit. He also went over the history and customs of Shirakawa-go so that we could make informed decisions about how to spend our 2 hours of free time in town. A fabulous tour and tour guide—highly recommend!

A delightful glimpse into historical Japan in Shirakawa-go. Keita was an amazing guide who gave us lots of information on the bus ride that was useful in our free time in the village. He is smart, funny and respectful.

What an experience! An absolutely beautiful place with outstanding views, our tour guide Yasushi was fabulous, very informative with the culture, super positive attitude helping with pictures highly reccomend to everyone!
