Longyearbyen
ロングイェールビーンは1907年、鉱山会社オーナーのジョン・マンロー・ロングイェールによって設立され、今日でも1,000人以上の住民が住む世界最北端の入植地となっている。 北の場所は、いくつかのユニークな法則をもたらしており、その一つは永久凍土が死体を地球によって再生することを許さないので、そこに埋葬することを不可能にしている。 本当に壮観な場所です！

5.00Fantastic place with fanatical nature and nice people. We stayed at Radisson in the middle of the village and there you could order all kinds of experiences. They helped and gave tips on activities and attractions. We were there in January - it was cold, it was snow, it was dark around the clock BUT it was wonderful! In the summer you can go on a whale safari and other things you can not during the winter months but we went snowcat, bus sightseeing and swimming in Antarctica. The landscape was like a moonscape in the dark. Very beautiful and mighty.Recommend Radisson Blue - located where the main street begins. Has a restaurant and a pub - both with good food. Svalbard/Spetsbergen should be on everyone's bucket list!
