標高2,700m近くあり、眺望は息をのむほど美しい。 富士山の象徴である山頂を眺めたり、ドラマチックな鳳凰火口を見下ろしたり、晴れた日には駿河湾や太平洋まで見渡すことができます。 赤と黒の火山岩と灰に覆われた斜面が印象的な風景は、写真映えもバッチリ。
