  We met our tour guide Terry in Yangzhou Train Station. He was very enthusiastic, knowledgeable and very considerate. He quickly understood our lunch request and arranged a delicious local vegetarian meal that we thoroughly enjoyed. Terry kept the day moving at a hood pace, which we appreciated.

  This is a very relaxed and enjoyable tour indeed. We like to do things free & easy and do not need to have a guide. All we need is a reliable and comfortable ride to the places of interest in Yangzhou and be on our own to explore it at our leisure with no time schedule to stick to. The car is just for the 2 of us. This package fits us perfectly. Our transport, a very comfy big MPV, came to fetch us at our hotel lobby right on time at 10.30am (a timing we requested for as we do not wish to rush through our hotel's morning buffet breakfast). The driver, Mr. Li An, is extremely friendly and polite. He is very patient and in his soft-spoken manner had provided us with many infos about the places that we were visiting. He can't speak English though but as we are able to converse in Chinese it was not a problem at all. This package consists of visiting 4 places : Slender West Lake, Qeyuan Garden, Daming Temple and the popular Dongguan Shopping Street. Each site is allocated 1 hr or so for visiting but as we like to spend more time at the Dongguan Street, we skip the Daming Temple. A good decision too as the Shopping Street is an extremely long one. Both the Lake and the Garden were very beautiful as the whole place was covered with snow. This is the first time we are seeing snow and we had a great time taking many nice photos among the snowy sceneries. The tour operator, Ms Alana, is a very efficient and friendly lady who speaks fluent English. Communication was not a problem at all. All queries were promptly replied to (through Wechat or Watsapp) and requests made to her were immediately attended to. On the return trip back to Nanjing we requested to be dropped off at the Deji Plaza in the Xinjiekou area, instead of at the hotel. The flexibility not to stick to a fixed schedule is def a plus point of this package tour. We arrived at the Deji Plaza at abt 5pm. Just in time for dinner and browsing through the many shopping malls in the area. Kudos to Ms Alana and Mr. Li An for providing such top-class services ! You have made our holiday in Nanjing that much more enjoyable and memorable ! Thank You.
