What begins as a ghost tour quickly turns into one of the most entertaining, informative, and memorable introductions to Stockholm's fascinating history. The real star of the evening was the tour guide. Equal parts historian, storyteller, actor, and comedian, they managed to bring centuries of Stockholm's past to life with remarkable energy and authenticity. It's one thing to recite historical facts; it's another to make medieval executions, royal scandals, plagues, murders, and ghostly legends feel genuinely captivating. The guide accomplished exactly that. As we wandered through the atmospheric alleyways and hidden corners of Gamla Stan, every narrow cobblestone street seemed to reveal another tale of intrigue, mystery, or misfortune. The stories were delivered with perfect timing, dramatic flair, and just the right amount of humor. There were moments when the group was hanging on every word, followed by bursts of laughter only seconds later. What impressed us most was the depth of knowledge. This wasn't a collection of recycled tourist anecdotes. The guide demonstrated a genuine passion for Stockholm's history and expertly connected historical events with the locations around us, making the city itself feel like a living museum—albeit one occasionally haunted by disgruntled spirits. Whether you're a history enthusiast, a first-time visitor, or simply someone who enjoys a good story, there's something here to enjoy. By the end of the evening, we had learned more about old Stockholm in a couple of hours than we had from days of sightseeing on our own. Highly recommended. A fantastic blend of history, humor, and haunting tales that brings Stockholm's old town to life in the most entertaining way possible. Five stars—and thankfully, no paranormal surcharge.

5.00Chris, our host was great, he had a few people that wanted attention and he was able to redirect quickly. The stories he told were entertaining. The dinner was ok.
