  Omsha travels made our holiday a wonderful experience to relax and explore the unique culture and environment of Bhutan. The booking experience was fabulous it was a last minute booking but they planned it to perfection. Grateful to the owner for the hospitality and also the tour guide tashi and the car driver who took us on a wonderful tour to take a glimpse of the amazing culture and lifestyle of Bhutan.   We had the most fabulous time with our guide Sonam and driver Tashi! We were busy with several experiences every day, and had nice comfortable lodging every night. I loved our opportunities to see how paper is made, rice is roasted, mandelas are drawn with such minute perfect brush strokes, and overall how Bhutanese people live. This trip was full of learning. I especially loved how Gross National Happiness informs all things in Bhutan. I highly recommend OMSHA for travel in Bhutan!

• Magnificent Bhutan with Omsha tours.

  Because if illness I could not write this review sooner but now I must tell you about this incredible company, Omsha tours in Bhutan. I did a thorough search on Trip Advisor before I chose this company. They have incredible reviews so I began my booking process with them. Nawang, the owner, answered all my concerns and questions during several months of emails. I book my tour and was anxious to get there. I had read about how the Butanese people are encouraged by the government to live in "Joy" but never fully comprehended it until I arrived in this magnificent country and experienced the peaceful and engaging persona of these people. Nawang from Omsha greeted me with a big smile at the airport and he was enthusiastic about sharing his kingdom with me. I had a private diver for this tour and it was a wonderful experience. Nawang was so knowledgeable about all aspects of Bhutan and every day it was so pleasurable to hear his interesting stories about the history, customs and funny anecdotes about Bhutan. He answered all my questions and always knew how to satisfy my need to know all things Bhutan. The hotels were 5 star and so large and beautiful with magnificent views, I was so happily surprised. Each day my driver and Nawang waited for me promptly and were so very patient with me when I slept in and made them wait. They never got upset and took it all in stride. Omsha went over and beyond to make my trip one I will never forget. When I attempted to make the difficult climb to Tiger's Nest Nawang was incredible patient with my walking issues. He allowed me to stop so many times and helped support me on this harrowing climb. He never made me feel bad when I could not continue to the top. He made sure I could get to a spot where I could get the photo I so desperately wanted of the famous monastery and he told me it did not matter that I did not reach the top, I should be very proud of attempting it and cherish what I was able to do. The Bhutanese people are the most welcoming and friendly calm people I have ever met and Omsha tours and Newang were outstanding! I have traveled to over 90 countries over the past 45 years and I have never encountered a tour company as caring and attentive to my needs as Omsha tours. I cannot recommend Newang and his company Omsha tours enough! They were perfection in every way. Bhutan is truly a shangrila not to be missed and you MUST use Omsha tours to get the royal treatment. • Exceptional service and warm hospitality

  I have just enjoyed a 6 day trip with my daughter to Bhutan organised through OMSHA travel. My initial contact was with Nawang who runs the company and his correspondence was always prompt and helpful. We fine tuned the itinerary a couple of times and he was patient and accommodating throughout and before we even arrived in Bhutan we felt confident we would be well looked after. Our guide was Namgay and our driver Jimmy. Both were outstanding. We have travelled the world and I can say that Namgay is one of the most knowledgeable guides I have met. She takes great pride in her work and has studied the history of Bhutan in great depth and there wasn’t a single question she couldn’t answer in an engaging and interesting way. Her pride in her country and her role as a guide shines through. Jimmy our driver was very careful on the roads and very helpful and courteous carrying items for us during mountain treks. He was always one step ahead anticipating when we may need a water or a rest. We couldn’t have asked for more from both of them and would highly recommend them if you are considering a trip to Bhutan. We visited Paro, Thimphu and Punakha. Thank you!

  I completed a 6 nights / 7 days Bhutan trip (Phuentsholing, Thimphu, Punakha, and Paro) with Omsha Travels, and the trip was smooth, well-paced, and professionally handled. Transfers from Bagdogra, immigration at Phuentsholing, hotel check-ins, and daily planning were all seamless. The itinerary was realistic, balancing travel time with sightseeing, and never felt rushed or exhausting. Highlights included the drive via Dochula Pass, the walk to Chimi Lhakhang, the Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten hike, and Punakha Dzong. What truly made the trip stand out were our guide Ugyen Tshewang and driver Tashi. Ugyen was exceptionally attentive and patient, always gauging comfort levels and adjusting pace without compromising the experience. During the Tiger’s Nest hike, he thoughtfully packed breakfast, kept checking in, and motivated me every time I felt like stopping midway. His encouragement made the climb feel manageable, and reaching Tiger’s Nest genuinely felt like unlocking a new level. His explanations were clear, contextual, and never rushed. Tashi’s driving across long mountain stretches was consistently calm and safe, which made a huge difference on travel-heavy days. The Bhutanese hot stone bath afterward was deeply rejuvenating and felt heavenly. Overall, a stress-free and well-executed Bhutan trip. • Perfect Bhutan Experience with OMSHA

  We recently travelled to Bhutan for six days with OMSHA Travel. The booking experience was extremely smooth and the owner, Mr. Nawang, was extremely responsive and accommodative of our needs. The pricing was very competitive and the ability to choose our own dates and utilise flexible payments really set them apart from the competitors. Whilst in Bhutan, our guide, Namgay, was exceptional in going above and beyond to ensure that we were comfortable and had a memorable experience. In particular, Namgay's extensive knowledge and ability to accurately respond to all queries was extremely impressive. Beyond that, her constant concern for our wellbeing and her joyous personality meant that she was very easy to get along with, resulting in the feeling of being taken around by a friend who was also an expert guide. Namgay is a true asset to the company and was one of the primary reasons why we enjoyed the tour so much - certainly the best tour guide that I have experienced in any country. We were also provided with exceptional service by our driver, Tshewang, who was highly reliable and a very nice man to deal with. It was an honour to be driven by him. • Cultural immersion in Bhutan

  Omsha created a custom itinerary for our tour to Thimpu, Paro and Punakha. Our guide Namgay met us at the airport and was courteous, friendly and hospitable throughout. Her knowledge of temples and dzongs was extremely thorough and her enthusiasm to share stories of her culture and good humour made for a truly memorable trip. She took us to some truly spectacular locations and made it a fantastic trip. We will be coming back to Bhutan and hope to see Namgay and our driver Tsewang in future!

What surprised us the most was their flexible payment options, including the "Book Now & Pay Later", absolutely hassle-free. They even handled our e-Visa application without any advance payment. Remarkably, we weren’t charged a single penny until the last day of the tour. Thank you for placing such trust in your clients, it speaks volumes about your professionalism. Our 6D5N tour was nothing short of amazing, covering breathtaking sights across Thimphu, Phobjikha Valley, Punakha, and Paro. Initially, Phobjikha Valley wasn’t in our itinerary, but we’re so grateful that Nawang suggested it, especially since we love nature photography, it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip! A special thanks to our tour guide Sonam, and chauffeur Tshering, for their excellent service. Their efforts made our journey truly unforgettable.   I was in touch with Nawang Dorji via whatsapp last year, and he was quick and sincere in his response. Then, for various reasons, the journey to Bhutan was postponed until this year, and I chose him anyway. It turns out there's nothing wrong with trusting your first feelings. A super memorable trip to Bhutan, the guides and drivers were very nice, very sincere and rustic, and a girl going solo had no problem at all, no worries about safety. Everything was well organized and proper. The food was very good, the hotel was comfortable and the view was great and the cost of the whole trip was reasonable.
