  Pawan from Make It Happen was extremely knowledgeable and was deeply engaged with the people of the island and the stories that generated out of there. It was amazing to learn about the origins of Goa, both mythological and geological.

  We were a group friends on a warm evening. Right form the moment Rachana and Pawan began the narrative about the mangroves, khazans, folk tales and local beliefs to the hearty meal at a local spice garden, everything was perfectly paced. There was not a single dull moment even though we drove from one spot to the other exploring Chorao Island. Would definitely recommended!!

  It was my first time at Chorao island and I absolutely enjoyed the whole trail. We got to know so much about the mythological part of Goa. This side of Goa is truly what a traveller should explore. You get an idea of how the islanders live, the type of fishing they do... We also visited Tato Kulaghar and the food cooked by the local women was truly the highlight of the whole trail.   Our experience of visiting Chorao Island with Make It Happen was wonderful!! We got to see and get to know a completely different side of Goa, beyond the usual beaches and tourist spots. Would highly recommended for anyone looking to experience a more authentic side of Goa, including some yummy authentic Goan food A special thank you to Rachana who brought the island's history, culture, and stories to life in a very engaging and easy-to-understand way. Her passion and knowledge made the experience even more enjoyable! This was our third experience with Make It Happen and we look forward to more 😊😊

  If you want to see a completely different side of Goa, you have to do the Chorao Island experience with Rachana. She is such a fantastic storyteller. The best part was definitely the mythological stories about Chorao and how they tie back to the people who actually live there. You can tell she really knows her stuff and loves sharing it. To top it all off, we ended the trail with an incredible meal at Tato Kulagar, which was the perfect way to wrap up the day. If you’re looking for something genuinely interesting and authentic to do, I cannot recommend her enough!

  I visited Chorao Island on this trail with Make It Happen. We met Rachana and Pawan at the Chorao Ferry Terminal. Rachana started with insights into the Island, its history, and since she’s also a Geologist, there were interesting details shared about geology too. It was a warm day but the evening was pleasant. We went to different spots on the island where both Pawan and Rachana shared very unique stories. The highlight was the meal served to us at the Kulhaghar; a fresh, home cooked and wholesome meal. Would definitely recommend this 3.5 hour trail. Ideal for a solo traveler and a group as well.

  We had an absolutely wonderful experience on the Mythical Wonders of Chorao Island tour. The highlight was ending the journey with a delicious meal at Tato Kulagar where we enjoyed authentic local cuisine in a beautiful, serene setting.   Rachana and Pawan were exceptional in their storytelling, brought the largest island in Goa to life with their rich stories. The trail was harmonised by visit to a temple, church, a sluice gate to understand how local Goans fish, and a nice tour of the island with a finale at a local Kulagar for a homemade, delicious meal. Chorao is beautiful island and a must try for off beat Goa experience!
