  The trip from Lanzhou to Dunhuang was absolutely rewarding, including views of Yellow River, stunning colorful Zhangye landscapes, good museum of history, multiple UNESCO sites like remains of the Great Wall, and amazing buddhism caves.   Steven Kang at Angel Tours arranged an incredible experience for us, identifying cultural and natural highlights along the Silk Road from Tianshui to Dunhuang. Steven was responsive from the start and engaged with us in a dialogue to identify what sights we wanted to see, what kind of hotels and restaurants we expected and how long we wanted to travel each day; he even helped us with our China visas. The transportation he arranged was excellent, the hotels met our standards (given our budget-- very good value) and he was knowledgeable about the region. During the over 1,500 km we traveled together (not including the train rides that he arranged separately for us), Steven was always responsive to our group's needs, was patient with us and engaging but not intrusive when we wanted to do our own things.   The natural landscape and cultural history of Northwest China are worth visiting. Every scenic sport is unique, especially the Rainbow Mountain in Zhangye, which is spectular and incredible

  We found Steven through a colleague who recently took a similar trip. We are a group of 6 people and we are very happy with the itinerary and service that Steven provided for us. He has been very professional, patient and proactive to our needs. He also has a wealth of knowledge about the region, so we learned a lot from him. The hotels we stayed in and the restaurants we dined in all met or exceeded our expectations. Steven is a trustworthy guide and you can definitely rely on his experience and professionalism to make your trip a memorable one.

  Steven has been a travel agent with plenty of experience in this region. During the 8-day-trip, he was not only arranged the intereting sites of visitings, but also took good care of clients needs. Therefore, we have learnt from him about Chinese history and culture. etc. We had tried delicious foods and beverages.

  We had the pleasure to travel 8 days in May with Steven along the Hexi corridor , on the Silk Road between Zhangye and Dunhuang. The organization was flawless from transportation( with our driver Mr Wu)to booking of parks, museum, hotels. There was as well a good balance between the necessary explanations during visits and space left for our own exploration. Steven demonstrated there his knowledge and passion about his province in China. Another highlight was the immersion into local gansu province culture and food.   Steven is a professional guide. Easy to communicate with, prompt, pro-active and trust-worthy. We had a great time exploring this part of the Silk Road, Steven knew the best way to maximize our visit, he prepared us well about what to expect on each stop and listened intently to what our preferences were. All in all, a great way to explore the less travelled places in China. When we do this part of China again, I will surely get in touch with Steven!
