  I had an incredible experience here. The shiatsu treatment felt like a surgeon working through every tension point in my body — precise, intuitive, and unbelievably effective. My therapist was Okada and you can tell there’s real skill and care behind what he does. Beyond the treatment itself, the atmosphere was so warm and personable. They truly make you feel welcomed and cared for from the moment you walk in, until the end with some traditional matcha and snacks. One of the most memorable touches was their prize wall, and I was lucky enough to win a handmade bag created by his mother. That made the experience feel even more personal and special. You don’t just leave feeling better physically — you leave feeling genuinely appreciated as a guest. Highly recommend.

  I had an awful lot of problems with a stiff lower back. Okada massaged me completely loose for half an hour. Very happy with it! Gerben

  Umano, did an amazing job! It was so relaxing but also strong a some points! The bed was heated aswell wich was amazing. Very friendly staff, thank you Umano!!

  It was a great experience. They were really patient and understanding. Helped in making a relaxing and stress free. Provided snacks and tea afterwards to end it off.

  We had an outstanding experience at body at BODYCARE RECOVER with YAMAUCHI and HIGUCHI in Osaka. From the moment we arrived, I felt welcomed, cared for, and completely at ease. The service was truly exceptional — professional, attentive, and delivered with genuine heart. The massage itself was one of the best I’ve ever had. The therapist was highly skilled, intuitive, and deeply knowledgeable in traditional Japanese techniques. Every movement felt purposeful and healing, and I left feeling lighter, relaxed, and fully restored. What really stood out is how much pride and care the team puts into their work. You can feel their dedication to excellence and their sincere desire to offer the very best experience possible. It’s clear they are working hard to become the top massage destination in Osaka — and they absolutely deserve it. If you’re visiting Osaka and looking for an authentic, high-quality Japanese massage, I can’t recommend Yamauchi and Higuchi enough. I will definitely be returning and encouraging others to visit.
