  Our travel guide was John. He was the best- funny, great story teller, loud so we could hear him and answered any all questions. You can tell he definitely loves doing his job.

  Doug was an outstanding tour guide. It was clear that he has thoroughly researched the history and culture of the areas he tours, and his knowledge brought each location to life. He has incredible energy, a great sense of humor, and kept the entire group engaged from start to finish. I especially appreciated the way he spoke about Marie Laveau. He presented her life, work, and legacy with respect, thoughtfulness, and authenticity. His portrayal honored both the historical figure and the cultural significance she continues to hold today. I truly believe Marie Laveau herself would have been pleased with the care and reverence with which Doug shared her story.

  This walking tour was fantastic! JJ, our tour guide, was a terrific storyteller, guiding us through the darker history of New Orleans. He pointed out landmarks with turbulent pasts, local hotspots where evil resided (now tourists congregate). He discussed his own recent morbid encounters in this unique city! JJ made this tour interesting and exciting!

  Elaine was great!!! very entertaining and knowledgeable. It was a hot humid night and the walk was not for the unprepared. Wear comfortable shoes and clothes. Bring water and fan and you will be alright.

  As New Orleans locals, we weren’t sure how much we would get out of a ghost tour since we’re already familiar with so much of the city’s history and culture. However, Doug completely exceeded our expectations. His knowledge of New Orleans history, folklore, and haunted legends was impressive, and he shared stories and details that even we had never heard before. Doug is an excellent storyteller who kept the tour engaging, entertaining, and informative from start to finish. What we appreciated most was that the tour wasn’t just geared toward tourists—it offered a deeper look into the city’s rich and fascinating past. We walked away having learned something new about our hometown and had a great time doing it. Whether you’re visiting New Orleans or have lived here for years, we highly recommend taking a tour with Doug.   This was a very fun tour. We got some good information and saw some beautiful houses. We really enjoyed the bar/bathroom stop at LeFete’s. John was a great guide and very enthusiastic.
