What To Expect
Tsuruga jo Castle
敦賀城（鶴ヶ城、鶴ヶ城）は1384年に建てられ、会津地方のさまざまな支配者の間で何度も交代しました。徳川将軍から支配を奪い、封建化された明治政府に対する反乱であった1868年の坊信戦争後に破壊された。敦賀城は幕府に忠実な武士の最後の砦の1つでした。 城は1960年代に具体的な再建として再建されました。 2011年に完成した改修工事では、瓦の色が灰色から日本のお城独特の赤に変わりました。訪問者は城の最上階に登り、周囲の街を見渡すことができます。建物の中はお城の歴史や武家の暮らしぶりが魅力的な興味深い博物館です。
Aizu Old Samurai Residences
会津武家屋敷（会津武家屋敷、会津武家屋敷）は、この地域で最も重要で最高ランクの武士の居住区と、家族、従業員、使用人でした。元の複合施設は、1868年の房心戦争中に焼失しましたが、その後、江戸時代の外観を再現するために再建および装飾されました。 武士の威信と従者の規模のため、武家屋敷は非常に広大です。庭園、客室、茶室、アーチェリー場、精米所など、数十の部屋とセクションがあります。多くの部屋の中には、かつての住民のマネキンがあり、日常生活の典型的な場面または劇的な歴史的出来事を描いています。

5.00Haru was an amazing guide! In 6 hours we explored multiple shrines, a temple, gardens, iconic spots and had an amazing ramen lunch! We were able to personalize the tour to our liking and it felt like the perfect pace. We took public transit multiple times on the tour and Haru made it easy! It really set us up for the rest of our trip. We would highly recommend!

5.00Wonderful way to explore the history of Aizu-Wakamatsu! Our guide No uso was so helpful. She communicated with us weeks before our trout to make sure we had the itinerary best suited for us. We learned so much about the history of the area and so many fascinating stories.

5.00We had an amazing time and see a lot in few hours. As it was our first time in Tokyo and just one full day to explore this was the smartest decision. Our guide Motoko was great. She explained everything so well and answered to all of our needs and questions. I would highly recommend it!

5.00The cemetery of samurais was the best experience to see how can people follow the honor, the samurais house was interesting, the design for castle showing how can make a secure defense and the hexagonal temple is the best design that I never saw before. The guide is very polite and explained everything about the history for each location with perfect English language

5.00Guide Minoru Asai provided an excellent day’s experience covering all the sights we requested as well as his valuable suggestions. His excellent knowledge of the history of the sites and is board knowledge of other countries was wonderful. He also took us to an expensive but excellent quality Ramon lunch. His English was excellent and we had many interesting conversations. Highly recommended.

5.00My guide Nobuko is a wonderful asset to your company. She went to a lot of trouble to tell all sorts of history and detail that I’d never known had I just visited the sites myself. She was kind, intelligent and thoughtful and made sure I had a day to remember. She went over and above too making sure I was safely back to my hotel. I couldn’t recommend her highly enough. I was interested in other sights and places that I asked about too, and again told me lots of info. If only your company added some additional tours that Nobuko could lead I would have happily spent even more time at Auzi-Wakamatsu - eg, it’d be great to do a tour visiting places like cotton processing, craft and lacquerware classes etc. another would a guided visit to the Samurai school and it’s activities. Having a person who helps bridge the language gap and is patient and clearly loves her area, would be a definite advantage for guided private tours.

5.00Our tour began with a short history of Japan, which was a wonderful perspective. He was able to pack in all of the highlights, such as the Emperor’s Palace, Ginza and still accommodate our wish to visit the Asakusa District. Truly a fun day with an exceptionally knowledgeable host. We highly recommend Yoshi for your guide of Tokyo!
