• Thomas is *the* mountain G.O.A.T. (Greatest Of All Time)!

  We reached out to Thomas to help us put together a three day private tour of Huangshan and Hongcun for two couples, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. We enjoyed beautiful scenery and vigorous hiking on Huangshan (Yellow Mountain) for most of 3 days and a delightful afternoon of sightseeing in Hongcun. Thomas was very attentive to our needs and desires. He communicated clearly on the start times for each of our hikes, and he gave us nice insights on what we were seeing without overloading us with too much information. He also gave us plenty of space to take our own photos without rushing us along. Thomas obviously loves hiking on Huangshan, and his love of the area is contagious. He referred to himself as a "mountain goat" because he just bounds up the trails on the mountains with such ease, but by the time we finished our tour, we felt like he was our Mountain G.O.A.T. (Greatest Of All Time) because of his great service and fun personality. Thomas arranged for our hotels both in Huangshan city and up on the mountain and gave us full visibility on the total cost before we left the USA. He set us up with an overnight hotel on the mountain so that we could do both sunrise and sunset hikes as part of our trip. When heavy rain slowed us down on our first day on the mountain, Thomas provided rain gear for us and then helped us extend our time on the mountain by an extra day (at our request) so that we could try for a second sunset and sunrise in addition to hiking more terrain. He arranged all of the necessary hotel and transportation changes for us--all we had to do was decide we wanted to stay! He also helped us tremendously with a sticky situation at the rail station as we were departing Huangshan. When we messaged him about the issue, he hurried back to the station and helped us sort out the issue in just a few minutes when we had already been working to do so ourselves for nearly an hour. This was definitely above-and-beyond service! We are already thinking about when we can get back to Huangshan to see more of this beautiful area, and we will definitely reach out to Thomas when we do.   Thomas was great, picked us up from train station with a name card, accompanied us to a nice car transfer to Huang Shan. Hiked us down the canyon, showed us beautiful spots and ended the day with amazing sunset spot. Stayed at lovely Xi Hai hotel. Woke up for sunrise. Thomas took us to very special secret spot where only two other travelers were present. Hiked to welcoming pine. Cable down then off to hongcun. Nice village with well preserved relics from Ming dynasty. We appreciate Thomas’ expertise with the area. Thank you for a memorable trip.

  Highly recommend Thomas for this private tour. He provides the best guidance on the route for Huangshan Mountain in order to able to see all the highlights and beautiful sceneries. He also plan out the itinerary for us to Xidi and Hongchun herritage village.
