What To Expect
高さは122メートル（400フィート）で、世界で最も高いストゥーパであり、アヌラーダプラのマハーセーナ王（273–301年）によって建設された当時は世界で3番目に高い建造物であった。
Samadhi Statue
サマディー仏（サマディーぶっだ）は、スリランカのアヌラーダプラ州にあるマハーメーヴナーワ公園にある有名な仏像である。 仏陀は、彼の最初の啓蒙に伴う瞑想の姿勢であるディヤーナ・ムドラの位置に描かれている。 この像は高さ7フィート3インチで、ドロマイト大理石から彫られている。

5.00This was a great tour - the guide was excellent and knew a lot about the sites as well as Buddhism. Riding bikes was also a treat and a great way to see the town, including riding through a village. Would definitely recommend and do it again if back in town

5.00We had a lovely afternoon with Saranga, who was engaging, knowledgeable and friendly! This tour is a great way to explore the city and its tourist sites whilst also seeing how the locals live. Lunch was cooked in front of us and very delicious. Would recommend highly!!

5.00Suranga our guide was terrific and really knowledgeable. We heard his story as well as being filled in on the history of the different historic sites that we visited and and learnt some of the pearls of wisdom from the Buddhist culture. The bikes were roadworthy and comfortable. The ride was a good mix of quieter roads and some beautiful dirt tracks through heritage forest areas and rice paddy’s. We finished with a delicious authentic Sri Lankan meal at an organic cafe. Overall fantastic experience. Definitely recommend it to anyone.

5.00It was really nice to get to know more about Sri Lanka through the cycling tour. It was nice to cycle because we were able to reach places that were more difficult with tuktuk. I had a lovely time in Anuradhapura and loved seeing the temples!! I would very much recommend this tour! Starting location was a bit challenging to find with the tuktuk driver but in the end we were able to find it.

He talks about Buddhism, the practices of Buddhism and the locations we visited. Provided great local lunch, letting you experience the Sri Lankan kitchen. And also the ride was great, giving you a different view of the city through the rice fields! Definitely a recommendation to do this tour when visiting Anuradhpura. 🙏🏼

5.00What a great way to experience the iconic (and little-known) gems of Anuradhapura! Thanks Saranga for taking me on as your group of 1! Saranga is well-spoken and his charm and humor make this an A+ tour. Besides learning a great deal about Buddhism, local culture and customs - I also enjoyed a delicious meal at a traditional Sri Lanka Food Court run by local women. (You will not find this in any tourist guide!) Last but not least, Saranga helped me with some train arrangements and even took me to the Railway Station to see the actual schedule! He's a kind and compassionate soul. Don't hesitate to book this Heritage Bike Tour with Saranga!

5.00Had a great tour! Fine guide who tells all kinds of things about the faith and customs that go with it. The guide adjusts to the cycling pace you indicate and always asks nicely if it is still going because of the heat. Also delicious eaten at a local tent!
